Dance Moms, anyone?
I'm hooked on this show.
I can't stand Maddie's mom. She's snarky and doesn't seem to have her kid's best interest at heart.
I'm happy Chloe got the lead. She really needed that confidence boost.
Mia's really cute and her death drop kills me.

yeah, Maddie's mom is snarky...but, unfortunately, that is how some actual dance/acting moms are. I have witnessed it first hand so this is pretty accurate. They will walk all over whoever they have to to get their kid into showbusiness.
Do you think season 2 is going to feature same studio?
I was happy for Chloe. Melissa wes pushy and annoying, but sadly there are a lot of moms like that. I felt terrible for Machenzie. I thought it was Nia? Anyway, she cracked me up with the "I knew I wasn't getting the lead. I'm African American." She and her mom are by far the most normal.
I bet anything they use the same studio.
I was so happy for Chloe last night, I loved how Maddie's mom had to turn it around like "it was better that Maddie didn't get the lead" OH PLEASE!
Maddie is very talented, but so are a bunch of other kids- Maddie and her mom need a realty check. I think Maddie is fake when she says "Ive very happy for others when they win, but I'm happy for me too".
I LOVE Nia and Holly- her mom is obviously very educated and that comes out in the way Nia speaks- that kid has good head on her shoulders, she enjoys dance, but its not her entire life.
I think Season 2 is the same studio- interested to see what happens with Cathy- she was annoying, but so funny to watch.
I like Maddie, and think she is genuine. It's not her fault her mom is a wacko stage parent. She was always supportive of Chloe - it's not as if she went around saying she was better than Chloe, etc.
I think Holly is the most normal of the moms. I also like Chloe's mom. She seems really close to her daughter, which I like.
Maddie's mom is eh, and I don't like Brooke and Paige's mom at ALL!!! Plus, I definately think she has a drinking problem.
I don't like Kathy. She is wierd. I don't even appreciate the drama she stirs up.
I'm so happy that Chloe got the lead... Chloe is adorable! It makes me happy to see how close she and her mom are.
Does anyone else crack up during Mackenzie's interviews? She is too funny and cute... "Sometimes I cry. It's no big deal."
I agree with what everyone else is saying! So happy that Chloe got the lead. Rolled my eyes at Maddie's mom making it sound like it was a good thing Maddie didn't get the part so she could have more 'dance' time in the video. Did anyone notice that she wasn't shown in the video nearly as much as Nia or Paige were??

And as much as I 'hate' this show .... I'm ready for Season 2.?
i agree with this. and the girl IS talented. i don't think she should have to not acknowledge being good, just because chloe's mom has a chip on her shoulder about the whole thing.
nia's death drop is RIDICULOUS. i love it.

Did anyone else think for a second that maybe Melissa slept with or tried to sleep with the record producer? No? Just me? My dislike for her has grown over the season and I wouldn't put it past her.
I love this show because I makes me feel very sane. They probably shouldn't allow it to be show in psych wards of hospitals because the patients may question why they are in there and the moms from the show aren't. When the show ended I said to myself "PLEASE let there be another season!!!" After watching this though I can see the moms seeing how this is all portrayed and saying they don't want their kids on the show any more. Who am I kidding, they are all AWs, they probably signed up for 10 seasons at the beginning of everything.
While Melissa was saying how she was glad Chloe got the lead b/c you could see Maddie dancing and some talent agent was going to phone
a) I thought "dreaming, much?" and
b) I thought "In the video, you'll have maybe 2 shots of Maddie dancing, it will mostly be about Chloe (and Lux), so nobody will see that much of Maddie, anyway" and when we saw the video, I was right!
I love how Nia "gets it," and wasn't bothered that she wasn't cast, but still did the death drop!
I also think....some of this video shoot thing did prove Abby right - they learned the dances quickly, she was HAPPY that Chloe got the lead (so not as into favorites as everyone complains), and Nia learning the "ethnic" death drop really made her stand out.
I also thought - - those boys are cast, and they aren't even that good. It's SO much easier to be a male in Hollywood!
It seems Christy is ok with going and getting her daughter acting help to land the role, but finds it underhanded that another Mom would do whatever to make her daughter picked. They have been showing Christy in a new light the last few episodes. Guess they decided she was not a good villain.
After seeing Lux it was no surprise Chloe would be picked. She was a dead ringer. The only other one who had a chance was Paige, but she doesn't have the drive.
I feel sorry for Mackenzie and having to live in the shadow of Maddie.
I love this show. I was also very happy to see Chloe get the lead. Maddie is awesome and usually deserves to win, but Chloe did great here.
The one I really can't stand is Abby. She is so offensive and out of line most of the time. I also can't stand the clothes she makes them wear for competitions. The always have on half as much fabric as their peers.
