It was so much fun!!! I think it's my new favorite place in Europe.
Everyone was incredibly friendly, public transportation was easy to navigate, even the language was easy to pick up! We of course did Oktoberfest (3 days in a row - it was a blast!). We also toured a number of castles/palaces/fortresses, walked around walled medieval towns, did a couple hikes up into the mountains, and a bike ride outside Salzburg. Oh and this naked Roman-Irish bath in Baden-Baden (I still can't believe I was brave enough to do that, lol!). We love it there, and I was pretty sad to leave. But we had a nice long trip, so by the end I was getting ready to out of those hostel bunk beds and back at home with clean clothes.
As soon as I get to the point where I can stay awake past 8pm, I will get my photos up on my blog. Right now, I'm still pretty jet lagged and ready to crash soon after I get home.
Also, we really need to get together for lunch before this nice weather disappears! I could do next Thurs or Fri if you're free.
That sounds like an awesome trip! My FIL works for a German company and last year they flew my MIL and FIL to Germany for the Christmas Party. It was in Baden-Baden! They didn't go to the naked baths, but my FIL joked a lot about it! I'm glad you went and had fun! They will be back this year for 10 days in December!
I'm sure you got some awesome pictures! You'll definitely have to get them up on your blog as soon as you're up to it

I agree about lunch! I definitely cannot do next Thursday, but I am around Friday if you want to meet somewhere! Anywhere sound good?
