Thank you! It's just a matter of NBC not wanting egg on their face, given how heavily they've marketed her show. No way it's coming back for a second season.
I think it has the potential to be great if they get on the right track.
I cannot believe Whitney got picked up. That is the worst show I've seen in a long while.
I liked The Playboy Club. I'm hanging in there with Up All Night and I think it will get better.
They need to move Up All Night to Thursdays. Get rid of Whitney, PLEASE!! I didn't even give Playboy Club a chance b/c I figured if it was good, I'd catch on later, or that it would be off very shortly. And, we all saw how that worked out...

Whitney is horrible. I never watched any Playboy Club.
I'm kind of sad the Playboy Club got cancelled. I swear I read an article in a magazine a week or so ago that said not to expect Playboy Club to make it past a couple episodes. I wonder if there wasn't something going on before it even started..
I couldn't bring myself to watch Whitney, it looks terrible. I caught the beginning of Up All Night when it first aired and decided it wasn't that great.
Most of the reviews I read said Eddie Cibrian was terrible, yet he was supposed to be a really important character. I guess shows don't survive that kind of problem.
Ditto.
Well, they should have known Eddie Cibrian was the kiss of death. He's rapidly becoming the Show Killer male actor of the modern TV era (Summer Glau is up for female show killer). When he gets hired for a show, I don't even bother with it.
Honestly I think Whitney is a little forced, but still quite funny, versus Up All Night that is hilarious in the Will Arnett parts and completely unfunny in the rest of it. Maya Rudolph should be ashamed of herself.
It's also 'funny' in the way that despite raising a baby, he has time to dress up, work out, write, and master new cooking techniques. If they'd really wanted to make it realistic, they should have started with the zombie newborn stage rather than skipping to the Almost Human stage.
