This may have been mentioned before, so I apologize in advance if it has.
But... I could have sworn I read an interview by Leighton Meester (the actress who plays Blair) that she was done with the show after the next season (she said this sometime last year). She said it's really hard to get into character as someone as manipulative as Blair, as it's so different than who she is in real life and that she'd be saying goodbye to show. If she meant that and holds true to it, then that would mean the current season is her last season. I can't imagine the writers putting her and Chuck back together only for her to no longer be on the show next year, but Chuck still would be. Wouldn't the best send off be for her to marry her prince and move to Europe so they can live their royal happily ever after? (Sorry I'm Team Prince Louie!)

I've a lurker and never posted on this board so HI!!!!!
Also, I read an article a week or so ago that said Leighton bought a house in L.A. It would be tough to film a show in NYC while living in L.A. After reading that I assumed this was her last season.
Chuck and Blair are my favorite characters so I don't think I'll be watching if this is true.
I won't mind if Blair actually marries the prince and moves away. I don't dislike her but if the actress leaves, it will be nice to actually give Blair a true happy ending which she will never have as long as she's in NY going back and forth with Chuck.
It's strange though- hard to get into the character? She's been doing it for years! LOL (I get that she's not like Blair but obviously she's getting the job done.)

Agreed! She does an amazing job playing Blair! I also hope the show gives Blair her happy ending, as I don't think she and Chuck are good together either. I'm surprised so many people love them together. She can do so much better than someone who has slept with half of Manhattan :-P
