Military Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
What all do you have in your "house" binder that you have talked about before? I'm thinking of doing one but just need some reminders of things that should go in it. Thanks!

Re: Ojo
Keep in mind my binder is way more detailed because we've had a few overlapping deployments/TDYs, so it's set up as if a total stranger would need to run my house.
My cover page has the name, phone number and address of our vet clinic, my vet's cell phone number, and poison control's phone number (888) 426-4435. Should anything happen to one of the dogs and time is of the essence, I don't want anybody having to flip through the binder to get that info.
INDEX
HOUSEHOLD:
A. Frequently called/important phone numbers
B. Meal planning and grocery shopping worksheets, go-to meals
C. Cleaning routines and checklists
D. Account usernames and passwords, bills & due dates, location of legal documents
E. Family addresses, important dates
DOGS:
F. Daily schedule
G. Microchips, identifying info, photos, sizes
H. Diets (poison control quick reference as well as Rudi?s allergy report)
I. Medical records (just current vaccinations and Rxs), Snout-to-Tail worksheets, first aid kit checklist
J. Boarding info
K. Training certificates
In addition to what she has in her dog section, I also have a few copies of paper in the medical records section that basically say that if someone is watching our dogs and they need to go to the vet, that we authorize any charges to our "account" to pay as soon as we're back in town. Our vet wants a paper copy to bring in with our signatures in addition to them having it written in our files there.
I found this pretty helpful when I was looking for stuff on Household Binders:
