Maybe controversial dating clicky
So, I'm friends with this girl on fb who I know because we were in our university marching band together. I think she's a year or two older, can't remember. Anyway, while we were in the band, she started dating one of the assistant directors.
*side note: at the time I didn't understand this, but I think they were basically people who had gotten their masters and then had to get teaching experiences to then be music directors at the college/university level. All that's to say, they were older than us, probably by a decent amount, but not super creepy*
Anyways, this was a little 'scandalous' at the time and it was very hush hush - I think they kept it on the DL but people found out and word spread. Well, they ended up getting married and she recently posted bump pictures that just showed up in my news feed. Something about it still icks me out, even though they could have met online and it would be 'normal' to have such an age difference (guessing here, maybe 10 years?). The fact that he was a 'teacher' or authority figure just makes it weird in my head.
So on to the poll...

i haven't answered yet.....h and i met when i was his lead/trainer at work...but not his "boss"..does that count as authority? we didn't start dating till several years later and no longer worked at the same place....so i don't know if that would count, either. also..we weren't quite "adults" when we met....i was 17 (he was 18).
