X Factor 10/6

Anybody else watch? Thoughts on who made it through? There were choices I disagreed with (the over-30 guy who seemed like he's always impersonating, the girl who didnt know any of her words) but all in all I was happy with the selection. I'm really curious to see what happens with the newly formed groups. I was glad that all the original groups didnt make it through by default.

Re: X Factor 10/6

  • I have nothing original to say- I agree with your entire post! LOL

But I really enjoyed tonight's show. There is some great talent.

I am curious to see how the eliminations will work.

  • I missed last night as it was a big election day here.
Can someone fill me in on who got eliminated?

They narrowed it from 100 people to 32... so lots of people got eliminated, ha.

I thought the 13 year old girl that performed first in the final round was awesome. I hadn't seen her before as I missed parts of the hometown audition shows, but I was shocked.

I also really like Chris Rene. I think the rap he wrote and performed for his first audition was really great and would totally make it on the radio. I am a sap and want him to do well and stay clean for his kid.

I really like the burrito maker guy's voice. Is his name Chris Kraj... something?

  • I was wondering if anyone else was still watching this.

I missed Wed. night but watched last night's episode.  It's still a little dramatic to me (the loud background music they keep playing is so cheesy!), but it's definitely gotten better since the first week and there are some really talented people.

I thought the burrito maker guy's voice was amazing!  There are also several females I'm impressed with such as the rugby player/coach and the 14 year old blonde.

I'm not a fan of a few people they put through, like the rapper/rehab guy.  He's ok but just nowhere near as good as some of the other contestants, IMO.  I'm also not a fan of that one lady they keep saying is fantastic and saved for last yesterday.  I felt so bad for her when she mentioned her dad died though... I can't imagine not being able to attend my parent's funeral and I admire that she still pushed through it and performed.

I'm looking forward to next week.

  • This show is so unmemorable to me.  I have watched a few episodes and liked a few of the contestants, but can't remember a single name except Caitlyn Koch (sp.), and I think I only remember her because my favorite name is Caitlin.

I watch it when there's nothing else on.  Ratings haven't been wonderful so far, 11 or 12 million.

  • I love this show. I agree that a few people got through I didn't think were talented enough, BUT all of my favorites made it through so I'm excited for next week.
