Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. A SS timeline..
This was what our sale is using..hope this helps. (it is from the sellers law firm)
1. We are awaiting further documents from the sellers to send to the bank
2. The bank has requested additional documnets from the seller
3. The bank has all required documents and is in process of reviewing the file
4, We are waiting for the bank to assign a negotiator for the file
5. The bank has all required documents and is awaiting a schedule of a BPO.
6. The bank ordered the BPO and we are waiting for the results
7. The file has been assigned to a phase II negotiator
8. The bank has appraisal results and we are waiting for the final decision. (the short sale approval has been submitted to the investors or mortgage insurance company, if any)
9. We have approval from the first lien holder, and currently negotiating short sale payoff from them
10. We are waiting on an updated approval letter from our lien holder
11. We have short sale acceptance The acceptance expires on. ______________
12. Other:
We are on step 8. 
It's only been 4 months, though. I don't think we'll get this house this year.
