today is going to be an awesome day and i can't wait!
i'm leaving work early for a dr appt...i get to see my baby for an u/s..i think this is the last u/s i get before i get to see my baby for realz...so it's exciting/emotional... after the appt, i'm going to go visit picks and baby picks...and mr picks 
tomorrow is awesome too, but maybe i'll wait till tomorrow to talk about the awesomeness.

Good morning! Good luck with the ultrasound. Work was super busy today but today is much more reasonable. I've got a class in about an hour and then the rest of the day to do projects. Hopefully I'll leave on time today.
Trying to think about what cookies to make tonight. I'm torn between a couple. I guess it's a good day when the biggest dilemna is figuring out what cookies to bake.

Jennlin - good luck at your U/S. I'm sure you'll be amazed! I hope the baby keeps it's good hidden so you can stay team green. I saw Tman's junk before the tech pointed it out, but I couldn't be sure. I just THOUGHT it was a wiener.
I have to go get my blood drawn today to see if the dose of Clomid I'm on worked. I'm 10 DPO and HOPED that I would get a + pregnancy test this morning so I wouldn't have to do it. But, nothing. The test line area was as white as snow - not even a hint. I know it's still early, but like I mentioned before, my hope is pretty much zero for this cycle. Anyway, the blood draw. I have a SERIOUS phobia about getting my blood drawn. I had it drawn when I was 16 and threw such a fit, they thought I was a mental case - seriously. The next and last time I had it done, I was 27 and it was when I was pregnant with Tman. Again, I threw such a fit that James thought I was a mental case. At my glucose test while pregnant, I talked my OB into allowing me to get my glucose level checked via finger prick instead of the whole vein thing. I know it's irrational, and I can take a shot, but the vein stuff. It freaks me out so bad. SO, I'd appreciate thoughts and prayers around 10am.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

I was in a pretty foul mood last night, so I laid low. Today is a stupid busy day at work because an office of 14 engineers can't do anything on their own.
Is it the weekend yet?
THANK YOU! Most people think that I am completely nuts. People say to me, "Oh no one LIKES it." But they don't understand. It's not like I don't "like" it, it's that I am going to kick and scream and cry for about 20 minutes (or the rest of the day) afterwards. I am going to hold my arm like it's in a sling for about five days and I'm not going to look at where it was done because I will remember and start crying again. I feel so much less a lone.

I am officially done with work until February! Now all I have to do is sit around and wait for this baby to arrive. Oporation induce labor has now commenced. I'm ready for lots of long walks in the rain. On the agenda for today:
Think of a couple clickies
Set my fantasy teams
Walk in the rain
Meet the pediatrision
Go see a movie with mom
Should be a great first day off.

Today has been... interesting so far. Someone's dog (I hope it was a dog, and not a person) had a diarrhea mess on the floor of the front lobby RIGHT in front of the elevator. I almost barfed when I was coming back from walking my dog this morning
Then the smell was lingering in the elevator (although there didn't seem to be any poop in there), and I had to hold my breathe the whole time, which isn't too bad since I live on the 3rd floor.
I also forgot to put on my contacts this morning, and I don't have my glasses handy. So my super near-sighted eyes are making the world pretty fuzzy. UGH. It's a good thing I don't drive to work.
On the plus side, the bus I rode this morning is some kind of super fancy new bus. There is some computer voice that announced each stop with the street name/number and nearby landmarks. Ol' plain simpleton me was pretty impressed with this fancy-pants technology bus.

Babyaustin - Good luck with getting blood drawn today. I completely feel your pain! I'm the same way, and I didn't think there was anyone else out there who reacted to needles going IN VEINS the way I do... Lots of vibes sent your way!
I got up super early this morning because my bladder was screaming, then my loving dog started being all fidgety, even though he doesn't usually get taken out until an hour after that... I went back to bed after I took him out because I have a pounding headache and don't really feel well. I don't have much going on until later this afternoon since I made our place spotless yesterday. I have another dentist appointment today at 3, but I'm still annoyed with them from the last visit. They gave me 4 shots of novocaine, but didn't wait for it to kick in before getting started, so I was sore for 3 days and couldn't really eat much. I might just reschedule my appointment again...
Good evening! I am again late with the nesting. Internet was down at work but I still wouldn't have been able to nest even if it was there.
Long day...felt like it dragged on forever! But it is my Friday and I am glad it's over.
