I went to bed a little before 11. H came to bed when it was over and told me it was a good thing I went to bed since the game stayed pretty intense. I was getting pretty stressed watching Fister pitch in the 3rd and 4th innings. Eek!

I fell asleep on the couch in the top of the 8th. After the bottom of the 8th, I went to bed (to my husband's horror!).
I'm glad they won, though! I'm just very old and can't stay up past 11:00 on a work night.

I told Ben last night that I was pretty sure they make the games close on purpose....so we're forced to stay up & watch them. LOL!
My morning started with a laugh. Brielle said her buns were getting smarter. She then looked at her buns and said "Good job, buns! Keep it up!" LOL!
Now that it's over (and we won), I can take a breath and say, "that was a good game."
LOL, that's hilarious. Any particular reason that her buns are getting smarter?
It's FRIDAY!!!! Yayayayayayayayayay.
So glad to have this week over. And next week is the halfway point to exams. Crazy (and a little bit terrifying), but also exciting. Having three weeks off is going to be marvelous.
My day started out pretty well--a former CW and GVSUbride both sent me info about a groupon to one of our favorite places. I bought it and plan to surprise L with a nice dinner out next Friday. In three hours, I'll be on the road towards home. Can't wait!
Buns like, her behind, or buns like gvsu's in-laws have for the holidays?

I can't believe that you're almost half-way through the semester! That seemed to go by fast.
It has felt pretty fast, but it also feels kind of like forever. Like memories of life before school are hazy and it really is like another life almost. The routines of school are so different from the routines I had in the working world.

I know how you feel. Coworker had it, the hubby did, then I got it, and now boss has it. I am still coughing a lot.
Boo. I could have written a similar letter to my mom, H, and boss. Everyone's sick! And it's one of those lingering colds, which is no good.

And I thought of you when I saw that Groupon. But apparently I suck because I did not think to forward it to you!
That sick is hovering all over the place. I've been feeling "on the cusp" for a week now. If it's going to happen, it would be best for my schedule to start today. If I were a public health scientist geek, I'd be doing a study on how ArtPrize helped speed the spread of this cold.
Our fishtank has a new development that is disgusting me. There's some sort of white fungus or parasite that's attaching itself to the rocks. I want to put a gallon of bleach in there, and then set it all on fire. It's so gross.
When I was getting ready for my parents' party, I stole a shoebox of photos from my mom's stash. In it:
-a photo of my grandpa as a toddler and his parents on their front porch in KS.
-photos of my grandma and grandpa when they were dating (and so adorable)
-photo of both sets of my grandparents together at my mom and dad's wedding rehearsal dinner.
-photo of my parents in costume at a halloween party when they were dating.
These are all in a *shoebox*?! I don't think I'm giving them back in this form.
Buns as in her butt. She was sitting on the potty when she said it. LOL!
The only thing I can think of that would "inspire" such a conversation with her buns is that if one of us calls her smarty pants the other says "how did your pants get so smart?" It looks as though the smartness is seeping into her buns as well. LOL!
GRSP, I adore old family photos. So fun! There was a treasure trove of them that were discovered when they cleaned out my grandpa's house. Most of them were so old though, that no one knew who was in them.

I'm debating on signing up for a chance to buy World Series tickets if the Tigers make it. I better make my decision soon. It has to be done by noon. Hmmmm......
