Muffin Question

Apologizing in advance for asking a somewhat silly question.

I want to make pumpkin muffins from Annie's Eats.  I need muffin pans as opposed to cupcake pans, correct? If so, where do I purchase muffin liners?

Re: Muffin Question

  • I'm no expert, but I would think you can use either cupcake pans or muffin pans. Assuming a muffin pan is larger, can you just spray each hole (for lack of better term) with pam or grease and flower like you would a cake pan?

  • I make muffins and cupcakes in the same type of pan. I also use the same liners, if I feel the muffins actually need liners.

This. I use the same pan for both.

Same here. I didn't even know there was a difference between a muffin/cupcake pan.

  • Unless you're going in to the muffin making business, I wouldn't bother to buy a muffin pan.

This made me lol.  :) My DH would appreciate this--one less thing for the kitchen!

  • I usually just use a regular cupcake pan for muffins.  I do, however, have a Texas-sized muffin pan that I use when I want the muffins to be more "bakery-sized."

Same for me.  I sometimes love the large muffins so I use that pan.
