TGIF!

While I'm here I might as well start this!

What's up this weekend chicas?

Re: TGIF!

  • Tonight: Hanging out with my man. Maybe going to a craft store.

Tomorrow: Probably do some baking. Make mac and cheese. Family photoshoot in the evening.

Sunday: Cleaning out the garage because...WE ARE GETTING A NEW ONE! Oh my. It makes me nervous but excited. After that we are hanging out at my dad's house. Jean's daughter is visiting from Texas and she hasn't met Abe yet.

Monday: Maybe going to Damariscotta to a children's consignment shop.

  • Happy Friday!

Today - Bringing S to see my mom and sister. My sister is going to Vegas next week (lucky!) and wants the 4 of us to have lunch together. Should be fun.

Tomorrow - BBQ at BIL & SIL house. They have a 4 month old little girl, so DH and I get adult time and the baby has a playdate all at the same time!!

Sunday - Enjoying the weather and time with DH...he is going to FL for work next week. I was going to go with him but we don't really have the extra money, hopefully next year!

  • Working till 530 today then hopefully getting some more cleaning in baby's room done. Tomorrow working 9-1 then hosting a teen movie night for my rec dept Sunday just hanging out with hubby... That would be a good day for Layla to make her appearance:)

  • A new garage? Awesome!!

Tonight: First Friday in Portland, probably check out some galleries or the museum and then get a drink.

Tomorrow: Either the Fryeburg Fair with Matt's family or lunch with my family and some friends who are in town after they are all done at church.

Sunday: Either the Fryeburg Fair with my family, or ... who knows.

This fair thing is driving me nuts. I want Matt to make the decision, he wants me to make the decision, and I don't want to make a decision that gets anyone bent out of shape. If we go tomorrow I'll miss seeing my friends, and my mom will be sad that we aren't going with her and my dad. They won't go to the fair on Saturday because they observe Sabbath. But if we go Sunday, Matt's parents can't go, because they have obligations at their church, and I'm sure he'll be disappointed that E won't be able to go with his grandparents.

WHY MUST THEY GO TO CHURCH ON OPPOSITE DAYS.

  • Today: Very boring workshop day at work. So I'm getting as much done on my "to do" list as I can while I pretend to pay attention.

Tonight: My favorite cousin/"sister" is flying in from NYC just to spend the weekend with me. So very excited!

Tomorrow: DH is off mountain biking, so my cousin and I have a girls' weekend planned. But I have a shoot mid-afternoon at an orchard, so I'll do that and then we're going out for a celebratory dinner followed by a chick flick at the movies. I'm planning on getting mani/pedis at some point, too. Very excited!

Sunday: We'll likely bake and do house stuff on Sunday since she never does that stuff in NYC. She flies out Sunday night. *POUT*

Monday: I get a long weekend! The plan thus far is to work on my business stuff for the majority of the day. But it will likely be offset by trying to work more on the plan for the nursery since the kiddo is taking up all of my brain power lately.

  • YEAH WEEKEND!

Today/Tonight: Chilling with the babe (as usual), probably heading out for a long walk at some point. I'm hoping Will feels like taking a nap later so I can make a cake for Kyle's birthday tomorrow. Probably a chill night, planning on making pizza and watching some movies tonight.

Saturday: Kyle's Birthday!!! I'm going to make him a late breakfast (spinach & tomato benedict maybe???), and then he wants to go hit one of the two national parks that are nearby so we can do some trail walking and enjoy the weather. Not sure what the plan is for the night, but I'll probably cook him a big ol' steak dinner and we'll just relax.

Sunday: It's my birthday (well, hello there 30) and I told Kyle I really want to finish getting the art up on the walls- wild, I know! I'd really like to take a picnic down to the waterfront and just relax as a family too. I already got the one thing I wanted for my birthday (a home!), so I'm a happy girl.

Monday (holiday weekend!): Kyle has off, so I'm thinking we'll officially finish putting the house together and hanging out close to home, maybe work on our tans. Wink

  • Today: I woke up with a cold.  So most likely, I'll be going to bed early but not before catching the second half of last night's Project Runway, Parks & Recreation and The Office.

Tomorrow: Need to go to Joann's to pick up some supplies.  Then a little sewing.  In the evening, we are going to the historic part of Alexandria to walk around in the 75 degree weather and go out to dinner.  It's been a tense month, so I'm looking forward to a little relaxing.

Sunday: Baking (maybe brioche?) and hanging around the house.  Another low-key day.  We've been busy every evening this week so I need a lazy weekend.

Monday: While Matt's at school, I intend to finish my fall clean-out, polish door knobs, etc (basically, get the stuff our cleaning lady doesn't do).  And sew.

  • TGIF!

Today: Doctors appointment, after living here for a year I finally found a PCP that is accepting new patients! Getting the oil changed in my car, early anniversary dinner with DH.

Tomorrow: Bangor bound for my friend's baby shower, doing photos of her and her DH for their Christmas cards while I'm there.

Sunday/Monday: Kitchen projects again. BLAH, I just want this done already!

  • I've been sick, so I had to make up some hours and am sadly working a long day today...hopefully I won't be here too late.  We probably won't do anything too exciting tonight, but it will be nice to just stay home and maybe watch a movie or something cozy like that.

Tomorrow, we are trying to decide what to do - I narrowly escaped having to work (again because I was sick - who gets guilted into working more because they took a sick day??), and I only have a few weeks left until I will be working Fri, Sat, Sun for the season, so I want to take advantage of it.  Maybe apple picking and pie making?

    Sunday, back to work!

  • Tonight: dinner out with the nana's and Marcus, I think we'll go for German at Richard's.

Tomorrow: Chris' parents are coming late morning to visit Marcus and maybe go out to lunch.  He freaks everytime he sees them because he thinks we're leaving or they're going to take him, so we're working on spending more time together so he gets to know them better and feels more comfortable.  I've suspended babysitting/overnights for now until he seems a little more relaxed.

Sunday: maybe apple picking with a friend.

  • TGIF!  I have to stop wishing my life away....

Tonight: Since it's Customer Service week (yay me, well not really) we are getting together with my boss in Bangor for apps and a few drinks.

Tomorrow: My mom is coming down early and we are headed to Freeport and Portland. We are buying Taylor's winter wardrobe and maybe a few treats for me.  I've worked long and hard all year to have a decent budget for this.  I'm siked to go!

Sunday:  Staying home!  I'll probably get groceries and clean up the yard some since it will be warm.

WTH is up with 80 degree weather in October?  Not complaining but it is pretty weird

  • We have LOTS to do this weekend since we are cramming all of Fall into this weekend. As of Tuesday I'm on bedrest for 3-4 weeks post op :( So freaking scared but that's another post!

Tomorrow - we are meeting up with DD's Godparents and hitting Laudholm Farm and taking some Fall pics with everyone.  Other than that, lots of apple picking, pumpkin picking, Smiling Hill Farm, eating out, hitting ice cream stands etc. :)

Have fun Jess! We hit the stores last weekend and got all of Caroline's stuff! It's getting harder and harder b/c of the weird sizes now :(

  • So excited about this weekend!

Tonight: working until 11, but when I get out I have to clean my house from top to bottom so my landlady can come over tomorrow to mess around with our thermostat. I'm also probably going to attempt to bake something.

Tomorrow: visiting my aunt in the hospital as she recuperates from knee replacement surgery, then Pumpkin Fest in Damariscotta and hopefully apple picking in the afternoon.

Sunday: something outside with DH I hope! Can't believe the forecast has temps of 81-85 degrees! I love fall in New England.

  • TGIF!

We had a workshop day today, which turned out to be pretty laid back and semi-productive in my department, so that was good. Did some errands with Eli this afternoon and he was so cooperative and cute. Love that little guy!

Tomorrow: DH got the day off so we are having a family day! Making a big breakfast then going to Pumpkin Valley Farm. Also either picking apples or stopping by the local apple store to get some. Having my parents over for dinner- braised pork chops with sweet potatoes and apples with apple crisp for dessert! Yum!

Sunday: Not sure if DH will be working or not, so we'll play it by ear. No major plans though. We're hoping to go out for a date night, well probably dinner and errands, but I'll take it!

Monday: Day off for everyone! Not sure what we'll do, but hopefully at least family time for part of the day, then DH will be landscaping.

I'll look for you if you look for us!  I'm hoping to get down there right around when it opens at 10 before it gets too darn hot to be in the maze!  I've been dying to get down there for weeks!

  • Yesterday after having the day from hell... so bad that I actually had a quick meeting with our principal about my frustrations (which means I was super frustrated... I never go see him!)  DH and the boys and I headed to Portland to pick up my new ring and get dinner with my friend Krista

Today: we went to breakfast with the ILs at the airport in Sanford... everyone else loved it... I wasn't that impressed... later the boys are going to eat lunch and take a nap then we are going to Portland to run some errands... need to head to babysrus to look at a mirror thing and get some pullups

Tomorrow: nothing planned as of yet... maybe we will go to the playground or something fun

Monday: day off!! so DH is taking the kids to the animal farm and Krista and I are going to IKEA!! The boys need new bureaus and I want to look at some new bedding and other accessory type things... kinda hard since we don't have a house right now but I am not sure when I will get another chance to get down there!

I agree! Yesterday: work, drove to vt Today: bfast with friend, playground with another, baby shower at noon, currently parked in friends driveway with Abby sleeping she did well until about 2:30...presents were almost done, but I still felt bad leaving early. Driving back tonight so we can have a whole day at home. Plus Abby will sleep which makes it more enjoyable for all. Tomorrow : sewing, pumpkin land, naps for all, garden cleanup, and oh so much more....I need more hours!

    I agree!

Thanks ladies!  I came in about $75 under budget.  I'm very proud that we got 2 cc's paid off this year and put a decent chunk down on the van.  Kinda glad the OT is over since I'm burned out, but disappointed not to see those bigger paychecks anymore!
