Anything fun happening this weekend?
I'm out of work at 11:30 today, getting a quick oil change then we're heading up north to my sister's house for the weekend. Can't wait to see the fall colors in northern Michigan! And to get away from errands and chores for 2 days...and another half day on Monday to catch up on DVR shows, gym and other stuff. Of course DH had to show me up and took today and Monday - Wednesday off, and he's still sleepin'.

We are going to a wedding tomorrow and it will be BEAUTIFUL..80 degrees with all the leaves changing...I'm so jealous!
Other then that, not much else is going on...and that is okay!
Soooo happy for Friday! Tomorrow morning we are playing in a charity mini-golf tournament. It benefits The Brody Project (look it up!!!!) which is an animal-assisted therapy program. We love this charity because (a) we love dogs (b) they are really nice and wonderful people that help battered women and the elderly through animals and (c) DH did the legal work for their charitable status! Plus, I love mini golf so I'm super excited - and maybe we'll win a prize! (doubtful).
Tomorrow night we're going out to dinner at a new upscale Southwestern place that is always packed - I had to get a reservation last week to get it! We're hoping some friends will join us but if not it'll be a fun date night
annnd at some point the house MUST get clean. It's grody.
Let's see... tonight we are going out with friends... problem being the H is a huge blabber mouth and even tho he is one our closet friends he will prob be the last to know... so the plan is for me to order a beer (obv we are going to a place w/ like 75 on tap - great choice Sami!) take a feel teeny sips and be like ew -gross - here Sami you drink it. LOL
ANNNND saturday night is going to be more of the same at Sami's sisters bachelorette party! lol - plan here is a lil more devious... remember my poison of choice is "special brownies" lol, well i'm going to make "fake brownies" (which would be like, normal brownies with no magicness to them to regular people lol) and have one of those while having a bag of REAL brownies to give to a few of the ladies. THEN i won't be pressured to drink so much if i say, oh well, i had a brownie. lol The things i go through to keep this under wraps! LOL
Sunday is the Pats game! Woo! and hopefully a ride on the motorcycle as it supposed to be like 85 degrees out in MA!

I'm home sick today
Have to work tomorrow for a few hours then hopefully DH and I are going to head up to a nearby orchard to pick apples, pumpkins its supposed to be so nice this weekend!
And homework...the never.ending.homework!
DH & I at the Light Festival
Tonight is the gym, then a going away party for a friend. Saturday I really want to find a real pumpkin patch where I can actually pick a pumpkin. DH want to go out and watch the MMA fight Saturday night. Other than that no plans. The house really does need to get cleaned up some, and I am sure that we will hit the gym a few more times.

This weekend we are cleaning out the baby room (throwing away our old mattress and boxspring) and then going to the state fair! A CW got free tickets and he already went so now I get to go for free. Yay!
Thanks Liz! I had a cold earlier in the week and had exams/lack of sleep which turned it into a stupid sinus/ear infection
But I guess it was worth it cause I aced my lab exam on Wednesday

Tonight we will be staying in and watching the Cards game.
Tomorrow I have to make a cheesecake for Sunday. I think I'm going to convince DH to take my car for an oil change when he gets his hair cut. We will probably go out to dinner somewhere. I also want to stop by Hallmark since it's their ornament premeire weekend and I usually buy everyone an ornament for Christmas.
Sunday we are getting up super early to go to church where we got married (I miss *my* church & it's family). Then we are headed to my parents so my dad and some guy he knows can try to figure out why my car smells like something is burning. In the afternoon we are going to DH's aunts house for the annual family hayride. It should be fun, even though it's going to be 85 freakin degrees out.

Our weekend is going to be fun! The weather is going to be amazing, so I'm excited about that. On Sunday, the whole fam is coming over for brunch and then we are going to the pumpkin farm. It's our "second annual" pumpkin party, it was so much fun last year! There are a ton of kids in our family, so it's a nice way to get together. I'll be prepping for that all weekend, cleaning and baking, and enjoying the nice weather in between

Well I'm doing some fall cleaning! Our house looks disgusting!! DH is working tomorrow and then leaves for Mexico late Saturday night for a "work" trip. At least he's getting something out of them before he quits!
