Other than that I had no clue... until I saw this.
And now I am seriously considering it.
My nephew was something similar, around Z's age too. SIL made him into a biker because he split his head at his eyebrow just before. She put him in jeans, boots, leather Sesame Street Chop Shop jacket, flame bandana and a painted on beard. All the neighbors said he had the best costume they had ever seen.
Too funny, they would be adorable together.

Last year: Elvis
This year: a monkey because he loves them at the zoo
So far they've both been store bought. I hope to make them someday.
Our crazy, wonderful life
My mom bought Nora the Carter's duck costume. At this age, I don't really care what she goes as--she's going to be cute regardless, you know? And although I would like to try to make costumes when she's older, I'm letting it slide since she's too little to know any better. We have way too much going on in our lives with the house renos to add that to my plate this year!

Erin if your kiddos are going to be super heroes, I think you should be Super Mom. Seriously, so cute:
(I saw this on etsy when googling around for a cape for my own batgirl costume)

Mads is dressing up as an 80s aerobics instructor/flashdance-esque girl. Comfortable for her, made up mostly from stuff she already has (just need to buy a leotard & sweatband) & easy for her to move around in
And Trickey- that picture is too funny.... Zach would be too cute running around like that!
Is it bad that I don't know if I'm even going to get Marshall a costume? I'm not huge into Halloween and I can't imagine taking him trick or treating in the neighborhood yet. Maybe next year when he can walk.
So it seems silly to me to get him a costume just so that I can take pictures of him and IF we did trick or treat it would pretty much just be to the neighbors across the street...and we don't really have family close enough to go see. At least I'm not going to drive the 30 minutes to go see my brother.
So we'll see...
