Has anyone been following the missing baby Lisa case?
Did you see the parents dodged the questions about the lie detector tests? What do you think happened?
Re: Has anyone been following the missing baby Lisa case?
What? The mom didn't. She said she took it and they told her she failed. Do you mean that she didn't specify which questions she failed? The dad said he hadn't been asked to take one (the mom volunteered) but if he was asked to, he would cooperate.
I think the whole thing is really weird though and sadly, it's usually the parents.
ETA: I've really ony been following the coverage on The Today show when I'm getting ready in the morning.
I haven't actually seen any interviews, but I saw some articles that said they were on GMA and dodged questions about the lie detector test(s).
I think the whole thing is so sketch. The cell phones especially. Who robs a house and goes around turning on all of the lights? And they stole the cell phones so they wouldn't be able to call the police? How did the burglar know they didn't have a landline? Or another cell phone next to their bed like everyone else?
I think there was an accident and the mom either killed her or found her dead and they're covering now. I think she blew his phone up after she found her and that's why they trashed the cell phones then said the burglar stole them.
If this is true, maybe they'll get a jury from Pinellas County and get off.
Yeah, they were on this morning and the mom said that she volunteered to take one, they told her she failed, but that they wouldn't specify on which questions or show her the results.
I agree that the whole situation seems really unbelievable. Have they not already gotten records of the cell phones? It's werid to me that the dad would be at work and not have his on him. That right there seems fishy.
The thing that I initially found weird is that they describe a 10 month old baby as 30 pounds and 30 inches. My DD is 25 months old and does not even weigh 30 pounds and is only 32 inches. The physical description does not seem right to me.
ETA: Just read another article that says between 26-30 pounds. Still pretty big for a 10 mo old. DD weighed 19 pounds at a year.
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

I thought that too! My niece is 3 and while yes, she's a little peanut, she doesn't even weigh that much.
I don't know...Baez is tied up w/the Aruba case.
dup
Eh, my nephew is 8 months old and he's almost 30 lbs. He's in 18 mo old clothes.
I have not followed this case, so this is the only thing I have to add to the discussion.
I think she was just saying that everything about this case seems weird. Every litttle detail seems off.
Yep, details.

Hm, our theories must be different. I think they were okay parents before this accident happened. Probably took her to the doctor regularly, knew how much she weighed, etc. and she was just big. That wasn't a red flag in my (expert couch detective) theory.
I don't think that ok parents jump into a full on cover up (if that's what's happening here) when an "accident" happens. I think something has to be not quite right in your head if you're child is harmed accidentally and you lie about a kidnapping and continue to keep it going.
