I'm thinking I'll bring a chicken-caesar pasta salad.
Leslie, I have specifically avoided pinning that cake, because I'm afraid I'd pull the bowl out of the crock pot, sit down with a fork and a glass of milk, and, well, it just wouldn't be pretty.
SAME! That is why I wanted to make it for book club, I knew it would be bad news if I made it for just me.
BL - An abundance of rich sweets has never stopped us before and pumpkin + chocolate = awesome.
I can bring drinks, cups, plates, and napkins!
My kitchen may or may not be in an accessible state at that time... I won't find out until tomorrow.
Man, I really owe you guys something really good one of these days.
I was going to bring that! Oh well, I have no clue what to bring, but I don't know what to make? There seems to be a lot of sweets already. Maybe the drinks? Leslie I need you address as well.

It is absolutely not a terrible idea and is really sweet of you to offer, but coming to downtown Dallas at the height of the TX/OU craziness would be horrible for me. Dallas is a 35-45 minute drive on a traffic-free Saturday, it would be an 90 minutes plus for me that day.
I do not speak for the entirety of book club though and if the other girls want to do the hotel, I am totally okay with that and it will not hurt my feelings. I can always host another time.
Deepthi - It's still drinks/plates/cups/napkins for me. Our tile installation begins next Friday so I won't have an oven or refrigerator in my kitchen at all.
Geez Tiffany, can't you MacGyver some cream puffs or something?
