question about color choices inside the home.

h and i are starting to look at colors for the baby room....for surez, we're painting the ceiling navy blue, and h is installing little LED lights in the room to make it look like a sky.

we want to do white crown molding and still an unknown color for the walls....probably some sort of green, blue, or yellow. 

the problem is...our entire house is with wood-grain colored (brown) trim...(the one that separates walls and carpet...can't find a good picture of it). and also our doors are that brown wood color.

the carpet in the room (and entire house) is light gray-ish.

 

our options are:

a) replace the trim in the baby room to be white. leave the door as-is.

b) replace the trim, paint the inside of the door white.

c) leave the trim, paint the door white.

d) leave the trim, door, and crown molding mismatched

e) something different?

 

not clicky because i want discussion.

ETA: door = regular door and closet door.
