Everybody's working for the weekend...
morning!
for some reason i am in a good mood this morning (though that is sure to pass...)
all i want to do is sleep. and then stretch my legs. and then take a nap and eat and sleep and...
after work i am going to pick up some bottles of vino and then gerren and i are going on a sunset hike. we will hike up this small mountain (takes like 1/2 an hour) watch the sun start to set, then hike down. drive home, make some pork, drink some wine, watch "lincoln lawyer" and hit the hay.
tomorrow it is a few errands, apple picking, winterizing our patio, and hitting up the Ibex tent sale. then off to boston! EEK.
and when i think about what i will be doing sunday, i might throw up in my mouth...

So glad today is Friday. I really don't know if I could've made it another day.
I need sleep. Lots and lots of sleep. I plan to take a nap as soon as I get home this afternoon. Good bye driving an hour each way to the nursing homes the past 3 nights. Those 14 hour days are ROUGH.
I have decided that I will be using that check on ME and no one else. I busted my butt and it'll be an unplanned check anyway since I was called last minute so it's not in the budget so I will probably blow every last penny.
Tomorrow is my mom's 50th birthday party. I'll be working on her scrapbook/photo album tonight. I picked up the party supplies yesterday (minus the balloons). And HELLO inflatable guitars. I think those and my vinyl records will be my favorite decorations (and the kiddos there will love playing with them). Sunday J has to work 6:30 to midnight so I plan on catching up on my DVR list.
I will be rooting for you Sunday!

Last night I went home, stripped our bed and the spare bedroom and remade beds, did four loads of laundry, took my dogs for a walk, ate, packed lunch, dusted the basement, living and dining rooms, and picked up a bit on the top floor. I watched Revenge, 90210 and Hart of Dixie downstairs, then got in bed and watched three episodes of The Big Bang Theory upstairs.
I fell out around 11 and was woken up at 4:45 by a douchebag looking for a usb port and an electronic key fob. HATE.
Stupid new telephone training at 9 a.m.

Last night I went home and got my coupons/grocery list ready. Hung out with J for a bit. Things have gotten better. We had a heart to heart and I think he's starting to realize why things have been rough lately. He still hasn't gotten any nooky though. BUT, it's only been since sunday, so he can't freaking complain if it's still getting it at least once a week, and he's b-day is sunday, so it's a given that i'll have to give it up.
Tomorrow night we're meeting 4 other couples for dinner and then going to the comedy club for J's b-day. Should be fun. I haven't been to a comedy club since college, so I'm excited to be out doing something that isn't just sitting in a bar that I can't drink in anyway.

Mary- tell J he should be lucky he got it lastSunday. I feel so bad but I have no desire to do it at all. I just feel big and gross and being naked is not something I want to do. I think this weekend i will make a point to have sexy time.

Whoever wished a pox on my house, it came true. K finally went to work yesterday (after 4 f'n days of pissing & moaning). Doc thinks it was some sort of pneumonia. Lovely. So last night, I've felt like poo all day, have a fever over 100, and he wants to go bowling. W.T.F. He (wisely) offered to stay home and take care of Baby Q when he started getting one-word answers from me. Smart boy. Sometimes.
Fever was gone as of 6 am, but I'm still feeling lousy. Tea & fluids for me today. Hoping to feel better so we can do some apple picking this weekend. I love me some apple crisp.
YAY Friday! Yesterday after getting home, Allie the dog and I walked about 4 miles. We were glad that the rain had stopped. Made dinner and vegged out. This morning, we walked 4 miles again, made eggs for J and I and am now working from home.
Shauni - good luck on Sunday, you've been training really well so your body is ready, just get your rest tonight.
Steph - no bueno on getting woken up at 445am, who does that? Hope MFD makes it up to you big time.

Yesterday was awesome I did nothing. I watched TV and tried to "read" for my classes on Tuesday, it didn't go well. I dug out a guacamole receipe that I found on Pinterest and made it - holy yum. I have never made Guac before, it will now be a staple - so good.
Today I have an appointment with a stylist from Nordstrom (they were offering $50 off any purchase to set up an appointment - so I did) I need absolutely nothing but will probably leave with way to much crap. Then I really NEED to read for classes. I also need to decide what to do for dinner.
AND... my intereview (2nd one) with company I would kill to work for is on MONDAY!!!! whoooo hoooo

Well Happy Friday my friends. It's Friday. I have my PSL (pumpkin spice latte). It's pay day. Off to a good start.
Last night I finally made chili and cornbread, man oh man was it delicious. The only problem is that I put too many beans in it and now I have gas. I should've bought some Beano yesterday.
Not much planned for the weekend. Going to try to make it to the gym today, tomorrow and Sunday. I wanted to go the the local Renaissance Faire but if the weather is crappy probably not. We are def going to decorate this weekend. I fould some really cool DIY projects. We'll be making a cemetary fence, and a coffin. Rich will not be popping out of it, he refuses to do so.

The urge to murder is strong in me today, because MFD is playing at a winery tonight and my parents and brother want me to go. Really aholes? He is an ahole! I wish I could write it in the sky.
Susie - Passive aggressiveness pisses me off. I am very direct and not afraid of confrontation. I have to get creative with MFD because apparently hearing"The sink is right next to the dishwasher. Please put your dishes in the dishwasher or wash them" daily for five months did not sink in. He was birthed by the Queen of Passive Aggressives, and some of that has trickled down to him, so I have to resort to speaking a language he understands at times.
Yay, Friday! We made it!
Yesterday I filled in for co-worker/BFF at court, so he could go to DC for his son's first back to school night (he's in K). So cute. My hairdresser won't do weekends anymore, but there were no afternoon court things, so I had an appt. I said it was too blond last time, and she went way too far in the other direction this time. I was complaining to H that this looks like natural dark blonde hair. I don't want to pay $100+ to look like I have natural dark blonde hair. Ugh.
Annoyed with H because he told me iPhone went on sale at midnight and that he set an alarm to order me one just to be extra sweet. (It's his Verizon acct.) Well, the alarm went off, waking me up of course, but he turned it off. This morning he told me that it didn't go off, so he just ordered it then. It's possible he slept through turning it off, but this is still annoying to me. Not that I had any expectation of him ordering at midnight, but he volunteered to do it. AND the big problem is that his stupid midnight alarm woke me (and baby) up!
