Seattle Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

well, I'm working on PhD - I like to add here before people get that "whoa" look on their face, that there is no masters program for my field so you just go straight into a PhD program

oh, I haven't picked yet, lol. I guess there are already a lot of options (jenn is totally going to kill you, j/k) so I can just pick what I'll be when I'm done if you guys are ok with that
Plus, there's no turning back now since I took my qualifying exam this past summer, lol

Stupid avatar. If I were pregnant I would be a very very rich woman.

YAY for snowflake being in grad school!!! and YAY for her immaculate conception!
what is the j/k for? totally unnecessary. haha. i've been cheating, and just resizing the entire webpage and taking screen shots of smaller screens. you guys can deal with small print when we have the archive done!

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
I picked "2-yr degree from a community college or tech school" because that was the closest. I have a Culinary Arts degree but it only took a year. And I also have my Esthetics licensed which took 6 months of schooling.
I would never be a forever in school type of person. I took the schooling I needed to get a good job that I love. I absolutely love to learn but I would rather do it on my own then owe someone thousands of dollars a year. IF I had the money upfront I would take all sorts of art and philosophy classes, but just for fun.
