my friend is dating a guy she had a pretty serious relationship with 7 years ago. they broke up back then because she didn't feel secure in the relationship and was jealous. he couldn't handle that. they remained friends and she was married and divorced.
fast forward and they've been hanging out and one night they had sex. turns out he hasn't had sex in 7 years since they were together! he said he didn't want to have sex with anyone he didn't want to have a relationship with. hmmm...
so he travels a ton for his job and he didn't call much while he was gone. they hung out when he got back but nothing happened. it was like dinner, movie and then goodnight.
when they dated back in the day he never introduced her to his family. that really hurt her. recently he opened up to her about his family and admitted that they are weird. he asked her out for tomorrow night with his brother and cousin.
she is confused. does he like her? or not? what do you think?

Probably took him about 10 years to grow up and act like a man. I bet he likes her company and maybe doesn't know how to move things along.

ETA: I didn't answer the actual question. No, he doesn't like her. He's gay and then when he saw her he figured he'd just do it with her since her already did. So he's gay, but she's his exception.
That or he's lying about the sex thing.

Yeah, I kind of gave the 7-year abstinence a side eye as well. I don't think he's gay, but I think he may be lying about that. What guy would go 7 years without having sex?
especially because he's an air marshall. he definitely isn't lacking for opportunities. i didn't get the impression it was religious, and she didn't mention celibacy... i haven't seen him though. maybe he is ugly? but still...
