Fleece blankets - s/o Christmas Gifts for Grandpa

So now I have decided to make fleece blankets for DH, stepfather, stepbrother and BIL. I think I will do New England Patriots and use this fleece.
Question - would you serge the edges in red for a contrast, or navy to match?
