What the hell happened to our board ladies, we've been lumps on logs lately. Spice things up...let's hear 'em.
Mine is I have ZERO desire or motivation to plan a party for the bris. My MIL and FIL apparently don't care enough to come, my eldest BIL is being deployed, my youngest BIL has scheduled his wedding at the end of Dec in Israel so he can't come and none of our our other Jewish family/friends has expressed any interest. If none of the Jewish family cares, then why should I? If DH wants to have a big shindig, then he's gonna have to plan it because I'm being a bitter hag about it.

I'm terrified of flying and having major anxiety about it. So much so that I'm seriously considering canceling my trip going home next week. I feel bad about letting my BFF down and stuff, but I'm just freaked out about flying.
Sigh...I feel like such a wimp.
I'm looking forward to being by myself on the long flight. Movies, being left alone, not having to look after anyone else, quiet time. I'm behind on movies and have had some moments we'll chalk up to pregnancy hormones. Alone time sounds pretty good.
I posted my dating stories because people said they wanted to hear (even though I was of the mindset that nobody cared) and I thought it would liven the board up a bit. So far only 2 people have commented. I feel like unless you're posting about babies or pregnancy, you get no comments on threads. This is why I stopped posting on the board.

My boring FCC is that H just called to tell me that he will be home on Sunday from his business trip (he was supposed to be back yesterday but had to delay his return) and I'm happy I get a bit more time on my own. I'm such a bad wife.

I have crazy Baby Fever for the first time ever. Now, is not the right time for us but it sucks that everyone around us is pregnant or just had a kid.
Damn you! I was saving that for when I got home tonight. I demand a repost and I promise I'll respond. It won't even be baby related. Seriously, I can't always post during the day, and I save the good ones for later.
My FFC - I've never been high. I tried it twice in college and didn't feel anything so that was that. I've never really thought about it since, but the other day I thought, man, I think it'd be fun to go out to a cabin and get high (there was a train of thought that led to it, but I don't need to make this long). Then I was slightly depressed because I realised my chances of doing that are slim to none now that I have a baby on the way. It's funny because it almost came out of nowhere. I guess it's a case of wanting what you can't have!

I also have baby fever, a good friend of mine here is trying to get pregnant and we had a few drinks a couple nights ago and she said "throw away the birth control, let's get pregnant together!". I really want to! I know though that's not a good idea until I've overcome my eating disorder, a baby may only bring more stress.
This board has seriously turned into a bore. It looks like we need Knitty around here just to get people talking.

I have tons of work to do at my job, but I actually spend hours on the Nest.
My rationale is a) I still impress them with the speed at which I get things done (imagine if I actually worked the whole time) and b) There is a very good possibility they'll keep me until the end of my visa, and I don't want to run out of work before then.
I just made a cake and ate more batter than any one person should.
I didn't comment because I was on Iphone and typing on the Iphone annoys the loving crap out of me. I went over to the SO board to read dude's survey. Seriously? I think I might have answered it just to see what he came up with next.
Dude, I work 10 hour days (except Wednesday) so you have to leave it up until at least evening time before deleting next time. I never even saw that you posted
