DH and I are supposed to be keeping the name of our baby a secret. But I'm really doing that more just to frustrate both moms who are going crazy not knowing the name. You girls are always the exception to every "rule" :-)
I'm really liking Biblical names but DH has already vetoed some of my faves including Ezra, Isaac, Caleb, Josiah and Isaiah.
What do you think of Judah?
Any particular nicknames that come to mind besides Jude?
ETA: The reason I asked about nicknames is because DH thinks kids will call him "Jew." I think my DH has lost it...
Re: More baby name chatter
I really like Judah.
I can't think of any other nn besides Jude... hmm.
Really like it!
I can't think of any other nn's besides Jude with the exception of an initial nn such as JR, JT, etc.
Other Biblical/ Saint names I like are Aaron, Jeremiah, Gideon, Matthias, Canaan, Elijah, and Levi.
However, I love many of the other biblical names that you've mentioned! I like a strong name, especially for a boy.
Not a fan. I like Jude, but not Judah.
Agree.
Our crazy, wonderful life
My thoughts exactly. I immediately converted Judah to Judas in my head. Maybe it's just me, but if others do the same thing, and you think you might give other future children biblic names, you might want to avoid the Judas association.
I do like Jude, though, and it's really too bad you couldn't get your husband on board with some of your other choices... I love them!

Judah with Jude all the way. Kids won't call him Jew. :-)
ETA: Ezra is such a cool name. How about Amos for another cool biblical name? It's on our list and I'm really falling in love with it.

I was thinking we'd call him Floyd, but maybe just Judah instead
Haha. Well I didn't see your "ETA" up there and the first thing that came to mind was "Ju" but it doesn't sound real good. I think Jude will work just find.
This is exactly what I thought!! Too bad DH vetoed Caleb cause I love that name!
