I really didn't find this episode funny. I didn't have high expectations for this show this year, but I was hoping it would be a little better than this. Oh well.
They should have ended this show about 2 years ago, IMO.
Re: The Office 10/6
It was awkward-- not to be confused with awkwardly funny.
It really just made me uncomfortable to watch. This season is not impressing me.

yeah I don't think I laughed once. Way too serious with the Daryll/Andy stuff
should not have let this show go on without Steve Carrell

I couldn't have come up with this on my own, but now that you mention it, I totally agree. Although when I think of Paul Lynde, all I can picture is Hollywood Squares.
yup thats right he was on Hollywood Squares back in the day- I just remember the Shadow Stevens center square days! hee hee
But yea, ever since Andy became manager the way Ed Helms is playing the character just seems so Paul Lynde-like to me. Maybe he was always like that but I really noticed it this episode.
Hmm, I must be the odd one out but I have to say that I am surprisingly enjoying this season even without Steve Carrell.
I like Andy as manager.
And the opening scenes have been cracking me up so hard! Especially this one with the dog and the planking scene with Dwight on the season premiere!
I think they're holding up better than I expected w/o Carrell
Andy acts kinda like him but with a Andy twist.
Me too! I didn't expect it to be the same and I think it's going well considering Carell is no longer with the show. I think Andy is good as the manager although he wouldn't have been my first choice. He's goofy like Carell but not as confident so people don't take him seriously so that's an interesting dynamic.
I thought last night's episode was funny, especially the Dwight/Jim stuff. I thought it was funny when Erin told Kevin he needed to "drop it" when he told Dwight and Jim his idea. That and the Senor Loadenstein "porque es muy rapido."
Of course, I never watched this show from the beginning and only started watching it when the reruns started showing on TBS so maybe that's why I'm not so "tired" of watching it as others seem to be. I'm glad they didn't try to stick someone in there to be copy of Michael Scott.
I loved Oscar and the fitness guy.
I loved the warehouse stuff
I hate Kevin - that is such a character that should never have started. He is over the top.
Love Andy.
