OP, I love your theory about Charlotte.
What I really like about this show is that these people are basically digging their own graves and Emily just exposes their bad behavior.
Yes! I mean you can't tell when the affair started but Victoria's husband has alluded to her getting "much more" than he did which, to me, sounds like he's pretending to be Daniel's father. I guess it could be the sister but it would be more scandalous if it were Daniel. They haven't even really made out yet that we've seen. It may explain the fast proposal that's coming.

I had thought this too, but with Charlotte still being in high school makes more sense, since Daniel is around Amanda/Emily's age and she was 7 or 8 when her dad went to jail. He would have been around that age as well, maybe a year or so younger.
If they did have her character dating her brother, that would be twice for that actress. When she was on Brothers and Sisters she ended up dating a guy who she had thought was her brother for a while.
i just caught up last night. i almost felt bad for victoria.

I almost feel bad for Victoria too. Sounds like she isn't in an ideal situation, but I would like her more if she didn't scheme so much.
I don't think Nolan will turn against Amanda/Emily, but he definitely has a wicked side. He wouldn't mind getting back at some of the people who didn't believe in him.
I often wonder how long this show can go on for, though. How many people are in that picture??? What happens after she's had all of her revenge?
I have thought about this too...but then I wonder if maybe they set up the second season in the first 15 minutes of the show with having Daniel shot. I think that maybe she really does end up loving Daniel, so the second season will be her getting "revenge" on his killer...or maybe not...who knows. I am enjoying the ride though.
I do think that the daughter being Emily's half sister is really plausible. Not so much for Daniel, mostly because I think they have set up Emily's dad as a "good guy" and it would destroy that image if he had not only been having a relationship with a married woman, but also doing so while his wife was still alive.
I like that this is like "The Count of Monte Cristo" with an updated story...and filled with pretty people who are fabulously wealthy, lol.
Maybe down the line it becomes about revenge in general, not just hers? There's so much going on with these people, half of them want or will want revenge on someone for something. Revenge on whomever killed Daniel is an idea, also. IDK but I've though about that too...
