Hi. Surgery update. Updated 6:15 PIP

Edmund is back in surgery and we won't know anything for an hour or 2. I can't even describe what is going through my head right now. The first part was horrible. We waited for what seemed like forever for the doctors to come talk to us individually. We checked in at noon and they didn't take him back until 2.

I'm just going to update this thread periodically when we know something. I'll just edit the title.

Update 1: He is stable and doing well.

Update 2: He is out of surgery! It went really well we are just waiting for him to be released from recovery.

We are doing well this morning. H and I finally got some sleep after they gave E a morphine drip at about 3am. He wouldn't sleep anywhere but on us and we were both so tired and the only chair we had to sit on was not comfortable at all. SO we didn't feel comfortable trying to sleep in it while having to hold him. We are just waiting on the surgical team to come by so that we can start the discharge process.

I'm glad things are going well for him. I can't imagine how scary that is to have your baby going through surgery. He it looks very sweet sleeping. I hope he heals fast.
