  • thank goodness!!!!!

I have a thank you note question for all of you - if 26 people pitched in to buy you a bunch of gifts from your office, would you write all them an individual thank you note?

Clint and I got some awesome stuff at my work shower yesterday but I don't know what to do about thank you notes.  A couple people bought gifts on their own so I'll give them individual thank yous but I can't imagine what I'd write in 26 thank you cards to everyone who contributed to the group gifts.

  • Morning!

Allison - do you have a break room that everyone uses? If so, I'd write one thank you note for the joint gift and post it somewhere in there for them to see along with a quick thank you email to everyone for the shower. Then, do separate ones for the additional gifts.

  • Morning!!!

    Its FRIIIIIIIIIDAY!

I will be cooking & cleaning tonight and tomorrow. I have notcied cobwebs that I swear were not there last week. Angry

This. I've seen this done at other work showers in the past. You could even get a larger thank you card to post for everyone to see.

  • Morning, all!  Baby K goes to daycare this afternoon - I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself!

Protocol at our office is to write one note with the names of everyone who gave the gift on the envelope - people read the note, cross off their name, and pass it to the next person.

The 6th floor would write a note to everyone and post it to the outside of a long cube wall that was along the main "thoroughfare" of the hallway. Just sayin'. I don't know how you 7th floorers do it. Wink
