I am a book nerd

I just registered for my first library card since college. I got it so I can check out the ebooks for my kindle. :)

Re: I am a book nerd

  • I hadn't had a library card since high school, unless you count the one they automatically issue in college. It was kinda sad.

  • I've always had one, and sometimes 2 (1 for my university town, 1 for my home town).

I've yet to use the one for my current city though.  All the books I want to read have too long of a wait list, even for the e-versions, and I'm way too want-it-now for that.

    However, yay for library cards!

Me too. I have a card for the city I grew up in and the city I live in now. I hate waiting though and always end up buying the books I want.

  • I currently have 9 books out of the library and 3 more on hold.
  • That was literally the first thing I did when I moved up here, even before I got groceries.  The library was across the street from my first apartment.
