Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update to closing:

So last night I talked to my REA and LO and the LO was saying that it was the fault of the insurance company that our closing got pushed back. So we called the insurance company this morning to ask what happened and he told us that he did everything he was asked to on the day they asked. I talked to LO again and was then told it wasn't the insurance guy's fault. Instead, the blame sits somewhere with the processors. It's frustrating but I understand that dates may change, I'm fine with that. What I'm not fine with is not calling to tell me there was an issue and not finding out until I emailed.

Good news, we will close next Friday. The sellers are signing next Thursday as they leave for their honeymoon the next day. I feel bad for them that this got pushed back but we have no control. I guess the house is vacant and we will get the keys at closing! I have a lot to do in the next week Stick out tongue

  • Yay!!! That's what we are doing this week is packing so we can close on Thurs. The week will go by so quick!! :)
