Christmas Presents
I started wrapping presents last night! I'm trying to get all my shopping done before Thanksgiving and I think I'm doing pretty well at it! I think I'm going to wait to wrap though...it felt strange doing it so early.
Anyone else started their shopping? Any great finds or ideas?

Haven't even started. Have thought about making a list to figure out who we are buying for this year.
And thanks for the reminder. This post made me realize I'm not sure if we drew names for my family Christmas, so I had to message my aunt.

i'm sort of swarming around it. i have pinned some ideas:

because they like to travel. buuuuuttttttttt... now that they are having a baby i might have to change that since travel may be taking a back seat! hmmm...
for my SIL:
it's an iphone 4 stand. now i just have to make sure she isn't going to buy the iphone 5 whenever that comes out (or at least not right away).

We just started talking about it. We're taking my nieces to the Nutcracker ballet, and I got a toy for Ronan but that's as far as I've gotten.
MD- I love that wrapping! I'm thinking of doing plain brown wrapping like that this year but stamping it. Maybe I'll make some potato stamps or something.
Yikes! I should probably start shopping, so far I only have ideas. One was spoiled because I planned to get H a Wii and he's mentioned being interested in buying one. I dont think I can hold him off until December
I'm putting some of those antlers/eyes/noses on beer bottles at our Christmas party! I think it's such a fun idea!
I love that simple wrapping, but I don't think I'd be dedicated enough to cutting each letter of the name out (that's what it looks like they did).

I haven't started shopping and won't until late November probably. I don't have that many people to buy for especially since we won't be in OH with the kids this Christmas.
i think stamping would be the way to go - eff cutting them out by hand. maybe the person has punches or a cricut.
i like the idea of starting now because that will help to defray the costs by spreading it over a few months.
That's exactly why I wanted to do it! I hate worrying about my bank account in December!
My sister just had her first baby and she has decided that for her kids she is going to do 3 presents each Christmas, a want, a need and a surprise. I think that's such a great idea!
A girl I work with does the 3 present thing because Jesus got 3 presents. I"m not religious at all so I'm not sure exactly what...frankincense, myrrh and...something? I could have this whole story wrong, but I know she does the 3 for some reason to do with this.
Gold is the 3rd.

Ugh!! I haven't even though about it. I think I am going to hold off buying anything for my brother right now until he comes home. Ill send him a care package and all. We need to talk about gift strategies with H's siblings. B is really tired of buying his brother these great gifts and him giving us $10 gift cards in return. I know its better to give then receive blah blah blah... but he is making damn good money and just bought a newish boat this year.
I dont really feel like I have that many to buy for this year.
