Anyone liking any of the new fall shows?
I was really disappointed with Up All Night and New Girl. I thought 2 Broke Girls is just okay. I think I'll probably be dropping those.
I watched American Horror Story last night and I loved it! It's definitely one of my new favorite shows.
What's your take on the new shows?
Re: Anyone liking any of the new fall shows?
We have already canned a few of them. I think Up All Night will be next for us to go because it doesn't seem to be getting better.
My favorite new show so far is Revenge.

I HATE Up All Night. I thought it would be really good and was looking forward to it. Maybe because I actually have a baby, but I found the show completely unrealistic ( I could not suspend my view of reality) and annoying. Two Broke Girls seems contrived, cliched and not funny.
I missed AHS (I wanted to see it). I saw some of 'Ringer', but I am not sold on it.
When I get through my DVR I'll let you know!
I heard The Playboy Club got cancelled already. I had three episodes recorded but I'm not even going to bother watching.
I've only seen 2 episodes of The New Girl and I though both were pretty good...we'll see how this week's episode is.
I CANNOT stand the show Whitney. I think it's terrible and she's not an actress and even watching her standup (not on tv) is awful. I hate that networks pretty much give anyone a show...or so it seems. I am disappointed in Free Agents too.
DH was all excited for this show and we watched the first episode and it was lame so we didn't watch anymore after that.

Person of Interest was ok. I want to like it because of the main actor but we'll see.
I like Terra Nova too, I think because it's so different.
I'm not loving Person of Interest but it's not horrible. I agree with tspring on Whitney, I thought it was bad and already stopped watching.
It's on FX - this family moves to a house where murders occurred and it's haunted. There are lots of creepy twists and it's pretty risque (as FX shows usually are). Be careful on the link - the pics aren't very work appropriate.
http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/ahs/ooh ok I think i remember seeing commercials for that...but i thought it was a movie. Ill have to see if i can find the pilot ondemand or on Hulu or something
Up All Night is eh. I really like Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph but the show isn't what I expected it to be.
I LOVE The New Girl! Her quirkiness has me absolutely rolling.
There's another one we liked and I just can't think of the name right now...

I agree....I really liked the pilot of American Horror Story!!
I'm still watching Up All Night, but it's mostly because I really love Christina Applegate and I keep hoping it will get better. I kind of hate Maya Rudolph, though, and the show just isn't as funny as I expected it to be. I'm bummed.
I watched one episode of The Secret Circle, only because my future second husband Gale Harold is in it. I haven't watched it since. I love my man, but damn that show was bad.
I loved the premiere of Homeland and have high hopes for the rest of the season. I just put Revenge and Prime Suspect into my DVR and am hoping to enjoy them as much as the girls on the Entertainment board seem to be digging them.
I haven't watched anything else this season that's totally new to me.
We've been watching Up All Night... it's been mildly entertaining, but the Ava emphasis is getting annoying already, IMO. We've also been watching Suburgatory and that hasn't been bad... kinda a Mean Girls-esque vein, I suppose?
... every single day of forever.
There is nothing that caught our eye this fall! Last year the new fall line up looked so good- we DVR'd just about everything and the only thing that didn't get canceled on us was Blue Bloods. This year it looks like the networks stepped back a LOT. There were fewer new shows and none of them looked great.
We have also DVR'd a ton and haven't gotten around to watching them yet. Our DVR box blew up a few weeks ago and it was a blessing in disguise as the new/newer Verizon ones have a ton of space. Now if we could just solve the only being able to record 2 shows at once problem, ha!
I'm with Link - I'm really liking Revenge so far!
The one show that I am watching that no one has mentioned yet is Suburgatory. I was very surprised by how much I'm enjoying it, I think it'll be a keeper. I already dropped Ringer from my DVR. Still holding out judgment on Up All Night and New Girl. And as someone else said, I'm hoping Terranova will fill my Lost-shaped void, and Person of Interest is staying because I love having Michael Emerson on my screen.
We've been watching Revenge and like it. We've also been watching Ringer, but mostly because DH is a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan. It is a pretty ridiculous story.
I'm very excited to try Once Upon a Time. Can't wait 'til Oct 23!
