Where to look at these strollers

Charles is outgrowing the Snap-N-Go.  We know for sure that we'll get P again withing the next 3 years.  With these considerations, it seems like a no brainer to buy a stroller that can go from single to double and have it take us through all of our child-bearing years.  I prefer the tandem style.  I've been to Bellani Maternity and they had the Baby Jogger City Select.  That was one on my list too, but it was the only one they had... Where can I check these out?

Re: Where to look at these strollers

  • honestly, I wouldn't just assume you'll need/want a double stroller. My girls are 23mo apart & I have never used/needed a double. I wanted one before the youngest was born, but decided to wait until I was at a point that I *needed* it.

I've either worn/carried the baby and let the big one go in the stroller/shopping cart or put the baby in the stroller/shopping cart & let the big one walk/help me push.

We have gone to the zoo as a family & taken 2 strollers (we have small strollers - a maclaren triumph & a joovy kooper), but even then we use one for the baby and the other ends up holding a diaper bag.

  • I agree, I never used a double stroller.  My girls were just shy of 3 years apart and the older one knew that the stroller was now going to be her sister's.  She always wanted to walk with me anyway and was not sitting in the stroller much at that point.

Never had an issue with the single stroller.

  • i believe creatoyvity on hope street may have at least the phil and ted.
  • I bought my Phil& Ted from Bellani. I just saw a nice one on craigslist last week and it came with the extra seat. I know there is a baby boutique somewhere near Wayland Square that had a lot of the strollers that BRU doesn't carry.

  • I would try Mod Momma in Wayland Square.
