Let's talk Tupperware!

I'm in desperate need of a new Tupperware set! One that will match, so that, I assume it will be less of a MESS to get to! What do you recommend? Do you like your food storage/ Tupperware? Please help! TIA!
All you need is love...

  • I have a glass set for leftovers from costco.  I like the glass for at home because I hate how the plastic stains.

This. I'm not sure where I got it, but it's an Anchor set (kinda like Pyrex, but cheaper). I don't like having plastic, because when it heats I know it's getting into the food. I also can put them in the oven to reheat, which is very useful.

    The pups!
  • Like those above, I also have a glass set. I have both Anchor and Pyrex, and I love them both equally. I prefer glass over plastic because I don't like microwaving plastic, and with the glass containers I can just throw things in the microwave without transferring them to a different dish.

  • I have a rubbermade set, the lids snap together and to the bottom of the container for storage. got it for 10 dollars at walmart. love it, freezable, microwavable, and comes with 52 pieces ranging from 2 oz cups to a gallon.
  • I have the Rubbermaid ones too. It's great being able to snap/stack everything together. Plus, Rubbermaid also have glass containers that you are able to snap the lids onto for those that don't like using plastic!

I have these that I use when I'm making lunches or snacks when we go on trips. They're inexpensive so if they get stained or they get lost-it's not a huge deal.

I also have a set of Pyrex containers. They're very durable and easy to clean. Plus they can be put in the oven for easy reheating.

  • ditto on what the other pps have said.  Real Tupperware is SO expensive that it is not worth the cost to me.  plus I prefer glass, too.
  • I have a rubbermaid set too, I think a "premier" set? Or something like that? It's the ones with the little window in the top on the lid. They seal really, really well and I love it how they came in all different sizes and the lids snap together. I highly recommend it.
  • I have "real" Tupperware and really like it. I have had cheaper versions from Target and always thought they were the same until I got Tupperware. I really like it.

I hate that they don't stack inside each other neatly for storage, but that's a minor gripe.

  • I have a Costco plastic set that is dishwasher and freezer safe. It is also stain proof and bpa free so safe for food and microwave. I also have a lock and lock set from Wvc! Love them! They nest down into one piece with the lids so I just store one piece. I want more but a bit more pricy so I watch for deals and switch it out slowly!! Good luck!!
