So, I've been married now for a little over 4 months. And well, to put it delicately, I am a small person. All over. Again, being delicate, Husband had to buy the big condoms. And this difference in size is rather uncomfortable sometimes. And my question is, will that eventually stop? And how long will it take? Does anyone here have experience with size differences?
Re: Size difficulties
Foreplay, and lots of it, will definitely help. The more turned on you are, the better you can accommodate your H. You could try positions that don't allow him to go as deep to prevent discomfort. Try you on top so that you control things until you feel comfortable. After some time you will get more and more used to the feeling of your H and it won't be uncomfortable.
I've been with someone who was a big condom kinda guy and for a little while we just took things slow until I got more comfortable. Every once in awhile there would be times when a certain position would hurt, but I would just voice my discomfort and we'd do something else and it was fine. Basically, take your time and enjoy yourself!
Both condoms and vaginas stretch. One size fits all. Quality control for condoms inflates them to the size of a watermelon, and vaginas serve as birth canals for full-term human babies (which are quite a bit larger than a penis).
As the pp pointed out, if you are sufficiently aroused, there should be no size issue. You may need to spend more time focused on the quality of the sex in order to maximize your physical desire for it.
I totally disagree that condoms are one size fits all. I don't care how much they stretch. DH is in PAIN if we try to use regular sized condoms.
Go slowly, foreplay is essential. Lube is okay, but does not really stretch you out, only actual arousal can do that.
Foreplay is good, but some women don't lubricate as easily...even with LOTS of foreplay.
Don't be discouraged and don't give up on positions that you want to try...give lubricants a change, they make a BIG difference.
