I feel foolish, so I'm sharing with you guys...

On Tuesday, I'm getting my IUD removed. And even though it's not a BFP (obviously), I am all nervous and giddy about it. It kind of feels like that point of no return or something. The end of an era and what-not.

Seems weird. And scary. And just... a crazy-huge change.

I think I may turn into one of those crazy, impatient, wackadoodle TTC ladies... Egads!

  • That is so exciting!

Our first cycle TTC I was super excited, had butterflies and the whole schebang. I think it's perfectly normal and worth getting excited over! Good luck, wishing you the best with your TTC journey, hope to hear some good news soon :)

  • I would be excited too! 4 months before our wedding I went off of the pill. I was impatient that we had to wait to TTC until we were married. Good luck on your TTC journey!!

  • I remember that feeling when I went off birth control.  Sort of scary, but mostly exciting!  I wanted to be knocked up right away, DH wanted it to take a while so we could have 'fun' trying...like the doctor said.  Such a man.

  • I don't think you're foolish..it's a big step!! Good luck TTC! :)
  • I sort of know how you feel...we're still waiting a few months to officially start TTC, but I went off the pill over the summer and started temping/charting and it was pretty darn exciting.  I was also amazed at how much better I felt - not sure if having the IUD removed will have a similar affect.  Good luck to you guys!

  • Yay!  I'm excited for you!  It is a big step!
  • Well, I guess my dream was wrong afterall! LOL!

I remember having the same feeling, as did my DH, back in June when I had mine removed. It was scary to think that we actually thought that being parents was a good idea! For us it was a fairly sudden decision, so we didn't have too much time to mull it over. But the weight of it was so huge.

Take it easy and have fun! Lord knows you never get those TTC days back once you get the + BFP. I swear most days my DH wishes that we were still TTC since we went from that to nothing pretty quick since I'm feeling so yucky. LOL!
