AW: Running

Just finished my 3rd half marathon! It went really well. I ran the whole thing, no walking at all, and felt strong throughout.

If anyone is looking for a fun race (ahem, JusLyn), Long Beach is a great one! Very flat course, and it's right along the ocean so you have a great view the whole time.

I didn't wear a watch, and failed to check out the official race clock when I crossed the start line - I started in wave 4, approx 20 minutes after the super fast people. I was really hoping to beat my personal best of 2:10:25, and if I didn't do it, I was at least very close. I'm hoping the official results are up soon.

(Also, I secretly wanted to beat another girl in my office that was also running, which I did. I'm not competitive at all...).

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go eat an entire Chipotle burrito.

ETA: Damn! Missed a PR by a minute and 7 seconds. (2:11:32 official finish time). Oh well, next one is in January!
