hello! good morning!
hope everyone had a great weekend! h and i went to see blue man group at paramount on friday and it was lots of fun. good show..good music...the blueman group played a lady gaga song (bad romance) on their unique instruments. that was fun.
on sat i did one of those mary kay makeover things...it was free, and just for going we got all sortsa free stuff. too bad i never like my makeup looks the way someone else does it..so when i got home, i re-did it, and i had a nice base going, so it was easy and looked more like *me*.
yesterday was work-work-work. boring. then went to MOD pizza. they just opened one in lynnwood, and i live very close to it so it's super convenient. i love the topping choices there...i'd rec it if you haven't been before...not as a super-nice place, but as a good quick and simple meal.

We had a blast at the pumpkin patch on Saturday. Ahhh, I love the pumpkin patch and spending time with my family.
I started spotting today and I have bad cramps. Really bad.
But, at least I have some closure on this cycle.
Tillman is out of school today, but I think we are just going to lounge around.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
I've been to the Mod in Bellevue and it is a neat way to have pizza.
The weekend was ok, DH and I got in to a dumb fight at the grocery store and then the place we went for dinner was super disappointing, so that wasn't a good way to end the weekend.
I'm struggling with some personal stuff and it's really hard. DH tries to help but he told me this weekend that he just doesn't know what to do. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday and hopefully that will be the beginning of things turning around.
I'm at work and I need to focus. Just not feeling it today.

I started on a new project this weekend! I found a coffee table at goodwill ($11!!) that I am going to apholster and turn into a bench/ottoman for my craft room. I'm super excited about it.
We went to Octoberfest Saturday night with a bunch of friends. It was fun... but because I was with all my firends. I was pretty underwhelmed with the whole thing really and we spent a ton of money. I felt like we could have done the same thing at the Pub down in Steilacoom and paid way less. That's where we ended up anyways and my husband and friends laid some fantastic Kareoke (I know I didn't spell that right) on us.
Anyways, here's to the start of another week... hope its a good one for everyone!

Good Morning! DH, our dog, and I went to a friend's Oktoberfest party on Saturday. It was a low key event but good to get out of the city and have our lil' beast run wild and free in the "country." There were two young kids (age between 9 and 11) there who DID NOT know how to interact with dogs. It was so frustrating, they tried to feed my dog GLASS and weeds and random junk food. I couldn't let my dog out of my sight the entire time the kids were there. I'm thankful that my dog gets along with kids so well, but THOSE kids suck. ...end of rant....
Sunday was a day of rest, and it started off great with an unexpected Seahawk WIN!

no, it was actually a "test panel' where they wanted reviews on their products, ease of use, etc....they weren't technically allowed to sell anything (and didn't), and the consultant was actually very hesitant when i asked her for a catalog.
what they *did* try, though, was to get you to sign up to be a consultant....which i might do to get a big discount on some holiday gifts, then abandon the whole idea. i don't have the drive for the independent consultant route (i've done avon before).
i told her i'd think about it, so i'm getting another makeover next weekend haha.

Morning. Weekend was just ok. Stayed home and did laundry. Played a lot of Lego Indiana Jones.
Today sucks. Thought I had a kidney stone so went to the ER. Turns out it was a UTI. Lame.

H and I had a great weekend. We lazed around Sat morning, then because the weather was so nice, we took our dog on a nice long walk around the neighborhood and drove down to Issaquah, just to see what was there (we hadn't been there yet).
Then Sunday, we went to see Killer Elite in theaters. We never watch movies in the theater anymore because it's so expensive, but it was really nice and the move was very good! Then we went and got a blowupbed, pillows, sheets, etc for when my mom comes to visit on the 19th.
