Has Anyone been following the Baby Lisa Kidnapping?

Mom took a polygraph last week and they told her she failed. They were staying this morning on the Today Show that Mom lives with Lisa's dad but is married to someone else and can't divorce him because of the cost. I have an uneasy feeling that Mom has something to do with all of this, but this is only based on my gut feelings.

Thoughts?

Re: Has Anyone been following the Baby Lisa Kidnapping?

  • I've got to agree that something seems a bit fishy. It will be very interesting to see how the case unfolds. I've got some friends and family that live in Kansas City and they agree that something just isn't adding up. I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason I think the parents had something to do with it. :( I hope the little girl is OK, though. It's just so sad.
  • I thought it was foul play from the start, so when the police said parents were no longer cooperating, it just confirmed my suspicions for me.
  • The red flag for me was the cell phone situation, I just find it hard to believe that the "kidnapper" went searching through the house to take the cell phones so that when they eventually found baby missing they could not call 911. That should not slow things down more than 30 seconds because you would be knocking on your neighbors doors screaming for them to call 911.

I was thinking the same thing

  • This whole thing has seemed shady from the start.  I just find it hard to believe that the mother didn't hear someone enter her house in the middle of the night, walk around her house, steal 3 cells phones (when 2 adults live in the house? Hmm) and then steal your baby...all while you didn't hear a peep.  I don't know about anyone else but I can hear the neighbor across the street get up to pee in the middle of the night over our baby monitor.
