Anyone watch Supernatural? **SPOILERS**
I missed the first 20 minutes of Friday's episode (our power went out).
I tune back in and Sam is hunting an old friend. How did they get out of the hospital? Is Bobby safe? What happened with the Leviathans?
TIA!
Re: Anyone watch Supernatural? **SPOILERS**
All the hospital stuff happened in the first 5 minutes before the introduction thing even. Basically Bobby came in and got them and they left. They were kind of chased by the Leviathan Drs but there was really no action at all.
They are staying at Rufus' cabin in Montana or something. Bobby is traveling around looking for the copies of his books that he made and stashed.
Man, they really built that up in the previews, didn't they? I thought it was going to be this huge, stressful fight.
I'm glad Bobby is ok though. I was going to be so pissed if they killed him off too.
Thanks for the update!
I'm really digging Sam still. Dean's been a bit of an azz lately. Last week I thought they were finally getting it back together and then Sam runs off. I literally lol'd when he opened the motel door and Dean punched him out.
Hopefully this Friday they'll fill in some of the blanks. Andplusalso, Misha was at Toroncon this weekend, they wouldnt put him on Supernatural panels if he was off the show right? They're all still very hush hush about Cas' "death."
I forgot that Jensen directed this one. I loved the Sam flashbacks. That kid that plays him is just adorable. I loved him asking Dean "How do I talk to girls?"
I liked the Bobby episode he directed last season better but I think he did a good job with this one.
I also laughed when he punched Sam. I'm still pissed I missed the first 20 minutes but it doesn't sound like I missed much.
I miss Rufus.
Oh, and Sera Gamble is saying Misha probably will be back, it just might not be as Cas. Jimmy, maybe?
I gotta say I am so mad at Dean right now. I could tell he didn't feel right about killing Amy, but he still effin' did it. And if you're going to go that far, why not take out her son too--now he's going to have to kill people to eat you stupid, stupid man. *face palm*
The young Sam stuff was really cute.
Next week should be interesting.
DH asked me how my "boyfriends" were doing. I told him I was mad at Dean LOL.
Ha! Yeah, our man is not at his best. I'm kind of surprised he didn't just kill the kid. It wouldn't be the first time they've had to do that.
I can't for the life of me remember what next week's episode is about. Refresh my memory will you?
The thing they're hunting feed on guilt and seems to have targeted Dean.
ETA: 1) I won't be around much to discuss today, got stuff going on at work but I'll try and make time later this week.
2) I think we'll see what happened to Bobby and his house in one of the future episodes. This new ep was supposed to fill in some blanks but it really didn't do that.
I was kinda sorta disappointed in this episode. Last week was so INTENSE. Then this week was just kind of ho hum. I gasped when Dean stabbed Amy. What are you doing man?!?!?
Oh and dumping the hot cheese on the guys head before eating him totally made me cringe. lol
Little kid Sam was adorable. He had adult Sam's mannerisms down pat, even some of his phrases were the same.
Oh, that's right! Jo is back. I forgot about that.
The cheese thing was horrible. Ouch!
I wonder if Sam is going to find out he killed Amy. So, Sam didn't have any hallucinations this week? And I thought Dean broke his leg? How is he walking around 3 weeks later?
When Dean and Bobby were trying to talk to Sam at the beginning, he spaced out. Staring off into the distance, not responding. Then he like, looked at his hand where the cut was, to remind himself that it's real and what he's seeing is not. (I assume)
Dean and Bobby then discussed his spacing out. Bobby wasn't too worried because it's happening less, but Dean was very concerned. Of course.
I also think he should have just killed the kid if he was going to go that route. I mean what's he going to eat now with no mortician mom providing dead person brains?? I expected it of him because he has never seen gray areas when it comes to monsters, but I wish he had been honest with Sam.
I love Winchester flashbacks, the kid that plays young Sam is a spitting image. If Jared and Gen have a boy I imagine him looking like Colin lol.
Even though it wasn't a crazy intense ep I liked it. Very early seasons, two brothers on the road, run of the mill monster hunt. I'm glad Bobby's library is still intact
This was actually Jensen's 2nd episode directing. Last season he did Weekend at Bobby's.
Yes, they would. lol. He's a fan favorite and a lot of the people who do the cons are no longer on the show or have been in very few episodes (Matt Cohen, Alona Tal, Chad Lindberg, Richard Speight, Corin Nemec). If those people still do the cons regularly then Misha definitely will because Castiel was/is so much bigger than some of those characters.
I LOVED the casting choice for the young Sam. I DO hope we get some more flashbacks/back in times with Young John because I NEED TO SEE MATT COHEN ON SUPERNATURAL AGAIN!
Overall I enjoyed the episode. I like that Sam is trying to win back Dean's trust by being completely honest with him while Dean is pulling the season 4 Sam and is lying.
