the filling itself is in good condition since it was pretty much never used....i've had it for about 10 years, so it's a bit discolored, but that's easily covered up with any sheets...if i can find the sheet for it at my parents house, you can have that too.

Sounds like a plan. We have empty rooms with no furniture and air mattresses with rotations of guests in and out. This might work as a substitute for now.
And maybe I can get you a bottle of the Tahitian oil stuff I bought a while back. FB me?
