we do, and it really it is interesting. we very slightly sway toward liberal, which i think would be expected for a seattle board...but it's not as liberal as i thought seattle would be, which is what i think is interesting.

we used to have a girl...i think she was on TK? that never posted..she had 20 or less posts, but every time something came up about the presidential election, she posted very anti-obama sentiments, and very anti-gay marriage. she said that we were all doomed because we voted in obama, and now gay marriage would be legal and it was all our fault.
it was kind of hilarious, because she was the only person (at the time) at the conservative spectrum...and it was like "what's your point?".

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
OMG THIS! It's just not a good way to spend your time. All it does is increase your blood pressure.
Of course that doesn't mean I follow my own advice

I know who you're talking about. And I remember her TK name. It would have been one thing if she was a regular and contributed to other posts, but the fact that she only posted things regarding politics, that's what set me on edge.
ETA: That wasn't really the only thing that set me on edge, it was also the fact that she made asinine comments and just didn't have respect for other people's viewpoints.

this. i totally respect having your own opinion, and definitely standing up for what you believe in...but i really didn't see her point in preaching to a bunch of people who didn't know she was. if she was a regular, then we might've been more apt to listen...but to us, it was just a stranger, yelling at us for being "wrong".
oh, and the thing was...she posted on EVERY political post, and fast....which means she was a regular-lurker. uber creepy...

I put down slightly conservative on the poll though I'm a registered democrat and tend to always vote liberal. But comparatively to a lot of people in this area I've got into discussions with and/or arguments, I'm apparently not very liberal. I think if this poll were on any other local board, I would probably put down slightly liberal rather than slightly conservative; so just wanted to put down that I voted based on comparative locale.
I remember in the last presidential election people in my vanpool started b*tching every day about how the red states are filled with uneducated morons and it was then that I realized just how narrow minded ALL people can be too, even those people who consider themselves very open minded. It was kind of an eye-opener, esp. since I identify as being from one of those supposed red states. (Kentucky) Since then, I rarely talk politics other than with close friends. It doesn't go anywhere good.
