A friend of mine is getting rid of her BOB and getting the Britax stroller.  Is the carseat adaptor worth the money on the Britax?

Re: *Holly and SuperCuteBenz*

  • This question is too vague. Wink

If she has the single BOB and is using the stroller with an infant, then possibly. The baby has to be at least 6 months old to ride in the B-ready main seat. Neither Holly or I have the adapter because our kids were big enough when we bought it, and I already had a snap-n-go.

  • She is getting the B-ready for an infant---I think she used an adapter for the BOB, I'm not sure--I know she had a Graco stroller too, maybe she waited to use the BOB.  She is trying to decide between getting the B-ready adapter for her Chicco infant seat or exchanging her Chicco seat for a Britax infant seat I believe. I didn't know if either of you used the adapter or not-I couldn't remember when you got them.

I have too many kids to lug a stroller around, this kid will be hauled around in the sling or ergo ;)  I know nothing of adapters and expensive strollers.

    Edit to add info

If she buys the B-ready now, she can get a Britax infant seat free. The B-ready comes with the adapters for the Britax seats.

Otherwise, she would have to buy the universal adapter.

Is the deal that you get the infant seat or the 2nd seat with the stroller?  I think (I know NOTHING about these strollers) her plan was for the 2nd seat...maybe she should just get the infant seat vs her chicco infant carrier...

Yep, you can get the bassinet, car seat or 2nd seat free. I found the best price through amazon.com and paid around $352 for mine with the registry discount (which I made just get the discount). I obviously needed the 2nd seat, but either way its a good deal.
