Decor help
I want to repaint my bathroom. I would LOVE to paint it bright yellow with grey/black/white accents. Then I wanted to paint the trim white. Here's the thing that is stopping me - our counter tops & tub is cream. Do you think if I painted the trim white it would clash with the cream?

Are you thinking a "white" white for the trim or a softer off white? We have standard "white" (very bright white) on our ceilings and our crown molding is an off white (I think it's called snow storm or something like that...it's a light cream) and you can totally tell the difference. It looks pretty nice!
Also, is the rest of the trim painted white or will it be just in the bathroom?
I think you should paint the walls gray, white trim and then OD on yellow accents. (Might as well paint a Hawkeye in there while you're at it.)
I think, especially with that small of a room, that yellow walls would be overwhelming. Unfortunately, this advice comes from personal experience; I "designed" my bathroom in high-school with yellow walls and navy accents. . . you know, to go with my "sun, moon & stars" theme. Haaa!
We are doing gray in the nursery but are adding in plum and teal. I think it would give you the most options in the end since it's a neutral without being boring.
