Poll: Which gets you more excited?

The other day on the radio, the morning show hosts were discussing a statistic they read that said "53% of women would rather think about food than sex."  (I don't know what the stat is from or how legit it is, I just thought it was funny.)

That led to the female host discussing whether she fantasized more about a great restaurant or about really good sex.

So, here's a poll.  :)

Re: Poll: Which gets you more excited?

  • At this point, I'll take the food.

ETA: Especially if there's cheesecake.... *cue drooling*

  • I have to admit that I get WAY more excited about an awesome dinner out (especially sushi) than I do about the prospect of sex later.  I think my husband realizes that, but I think it makes him a little sad.  I try to blame it on the fact that things aren't so awesome down there because of low estrogen from BF'ing, but I think I probably preferred a great dinner to nookie even before I had Ky.  (Even when the sex was really good!)

  • I get way too excited about *really* good food - doing tasting menus at new restaurants, chef demos, I've had some serious eyes-roll-back-in-my-head food.  I wouldn't say I prefer food to sex, but I know I think about food way more than sex, especially these days working on developing catering menus and dinner planning.

  • I don't want fuzzy handcuffs, but I choose the sex. I probably spend more time thinking about food than sex (excluding TTC which is eating my brain), but definitely fantasize about sex more. If I had to choose, I'd definitley choose a life of fantastic sex and mediocre food over visa versa.

  • About equal for me. It totally depends on my mood.

Like today, I could definitely pass up sex for cheesecake. But there are some days where it wouldn't matter if this $5,000 gold plated ice cream sundae is in front of me, I'd pick sex.

  • I'm a pick sex all the way person- unless I'm starving.
