oh the rumor mill
Long story short somehow via the rumor mill started at my school my BIL and his wife heard we were pregnant. (I'm not btw)
They called H's parents to ask yesterday, so they were all excited but didn't say anything.
Today she sends me this really vague message asking me to tell my husband to call his brother. I tell her that H is really busy today working and can't really use his phone (isn't that was voice mail is for)
15 min later H calls. "Hey...umm are you pregnant?" Umm What?
I'm ticked that she sends me this random vague message AND that they told his parents if we were they would have ruined the surprise.
Grr MIL says I need to call her and just say look we're in this fam together you can talk to me too.

Re: oh the rumor mill
I suspect it was all BIL that called the ILs. I may add that I've been here all day and he haven't called back to tell them we in fact are not. I think FIL was disappointed.
SIL and I are cordial to each other but there isn't really any depth to our relationship. I think that is why MIL is encouraging me to call her to open that door of hey it's okay to call me if there is an issue.

Oh that sucks, but maybe calling them might open that door like your MIL suggests? GL!
