Gift for a 6-month old?

Jack has his little cousin's name for a gift exchange for Christmas.

What the crap do we buy a 6-month old (boy)?  My memory is, obviously, terrible if I can't remember what interested Jack at that age.  :S

Oh, and $20ish limit.

  • Anything he can chew on....plastic books, teethers, toys.

  • Lyra is loving right now the stackable ring thing. Also, at 6 months my mom bought her these big soft blocks from walmart, they have animals and letters on them in a pack of 4, 2 rattle, 2 crinkle sound. She loves them still. We also got her these neat ring like ball, with a worm on the outside from  walmart (all my parents have) she loves that. It has a ball in middle of it. That makes no sense probably.
  • Touchy feely books or books with sound

  • Sam loved his stacking rings, his "pull the pony" toy with blocks in it, and any sort of balls at that age.  He was also really getting into his board books then too.  His favorite books were some foam wrapped Sesame Street books my mom found in the dollar aisle at Target.
