FFMondayNightC s/o Judging
I know you all are checking out the state of our "junk room"
Go ahead, judge.

What's one thing people would judge you on if they walked in your home right now?

Re: FFMondayNightC s/o Judging
Our floors are flippin filthy. Visibly, disgustingly, filthy.
Our dining room table is basically not visible because DH has taken it over as a hobby table.
DH's computer room is disgusting. I can't even walk in there without wanting to throw everything in the dumpster.
Oh, and our bathrooms are nasty.
I'm a horrid housekeeper.
My kitchen has a sink full of dishes (yet an empty dishwasher?) and the piles of laundry... clean ones in Nolan's room that need put away and dirty ones in our room that need washed.
Oh well... someday the whole house will be clean! For a minute.
Our crazy, wonderful life
This, exactly. I did the dishes yesterday, but after breakfast, lunch, and dinner at home today, there are dishes in the sink again and I don't feel like doing them. My office is also basically a junk room right now.
Unfinished projects e'rywhere.
Theres a dropcloth with pieces of primed fireplace surround in front of me, a half chiseled out fireplace, saws and trim laying around, a half bath with no sink or toilet, half finished stairs, etc.
It's a bit of a work zone lately.
This. My closet is where clothes/bags/shoes go to die. I haven't worn anything out of there in at least a year. Everything that fits is in my dresser....or on the floor in front of the closet. It's bad. Cleaning out my closet is job #1 on my to-do list but it's so daunting to even start.
I don't know where to start. Our couch has a whole nunch of popcorn on it because Jake and I had a late night popcorn feast last night and we haven't cleaned up our mess. Our bathroom is gross. Clothes are all over our bedroom and bathroom floor. Our desk is full of paper and other random junk. One chair in our living room is completely unuseable because it is full of a whole bunch of random crap.

The overflow of the recycling trash can onto the kitchen floor (Gatorade bottles, etc.).
The amount of laundry that needs to be done.
The amount of 1/2 started projects outside.
How dirty our bathroom is, I haven't cleaned it since the tub/shower reno job was done. Now things are covered in dirt, dust, and dog hair.
Our office? It's more of a 'crap I don't know where to put' room.
My disaster of a kitchen. Laundry all over our bedroom. Unfinished projects. Dirty bathrooms, bed unmade. Windows need to be cleaned. Dining Room = Sewing room right now.
House is so not ready for any visitors right now. Well the living room is OK, needs to be dusted.

This and the dust/pet hair every where on the floor. I'm off to clean right now actually because my grandmother (non-judgy) and great-grandmother (super judgy) are coming over in a bit...
