OK ladies, let's talk about this week's football games and the baseball playoffs!
First off, I'm starting to worry about the Tigers. I'm not going to deny Texas is a good team. If we lose this next one we're out so two in a row at home would at least make me feel a little more at ease to force a game 5. I think the boys better start polishing up their golf clubs and skis....
And HOW ABOUT THOSE LIONS!!?? The last time we started off 5-0 was in 1959 or something like that. And I stayed up for the whole game, too. I kind of figured once the game was over the "background noise" from NDN's garage would subside a bit but boy, was I wrong. I think they were louder after the game. I should've allowed myself to fall asleep on the couch last night instead where it's much quieter. Needless to say it's gonna be a LONG day...
Re: Sports Talk!!!!!
Morning!
Yeah - crazy for the Lions! LOL Thank god the Pats won... my dad is a huge Jets fan. I had the utmost faith in my red, white and blue boys! Loved the Brady/Welk connection to kick off the 2nd half! Can't wait till Sunday!

I am so excited about our win last night! The refs were absolutely horrible! First to the Lions, then Urlacher got totally boned. But, whatever. I have been a Lions fan since I was 8 years old. No one in my family is, and I'm from Nebraska, so it has been a lonely ride. Ever since Suh was drafted by the Lions, a lot of Nebraska people are rooting for them. I always have to make a disclaimer that I was a fan BEFORE Suh. Haha! : )
Jeff is being all sorts of cocky about the Packers, too. "There's not one team I am nervous to play." Yea, we will see how Thanksgiving goes at our house...someone might be getting turkey gravy poured down his pants! Haha!
Hehehe, yeah, that's going to be an exciting game and an exciting day at your house :P

I only got to watch about 1 qtr of football this weekend, so all I know is the Packers won and the Rams had a bye week. Both are good things in our house right now.
Baseball on the other hand is going fabulous. The Cards *killed* the Brewers last night and it was awesome. Pujols had 3 (yes 3) doubles last night and a home run...this guy is awesome. Can't wait for the next 3 games in StL this week.
