Here are two pinterest-inspired projects I've been working on for Christmas presents. These are 'wish' necklaces, inspired by this pin.

I didn't like any of the 'wish' charms out there, but I did love the 'follow your heart' ones, so I got that. The vials have been sitting empty for weeks because we're having our lawn treated and nobody around us had dandelions! Then--and I bet this sentence has never been spoken by a neighbor--fortunately, our next door neighbor hadn't mowed his lawn yet, so his dandelions went to seed today and I grabbed them. Thanks to a 40% off sale at Joann's a few weeks ago, plus 20% on top from it being Senior Day (I used mom's discount), these cost about $2 each.
The next necklace is a 'nestie' necklace inspired by this pin.

I thought I'd try brown wire instead of silver, and I have a bunch more to do, so this is just a first try. I'm not sure how much these cost each--probably less than $.50. It looks prettier on than just hanging.
Re: AW: Pinterest projects
My sister just made one of these for my mom recently but used stones/eggs for each of our birthstones. So pretty. Nice job!
Those are so pretty, good job!
I made some clothing size dividers this weekend. (pinterest inspired.) And I plan to make a pom pom mobile using a tutorial I found there next weekend. That site has inspired me, but also motivated me to get crafty!
