Great "Little Pumpkin" Baby Shower (PIP-fixed?)

The shower was a success! 29 invitations had been sent, 13 didn't RSVP and 25 ended up attending! I had planned well and had plenty of leftover food. I also learned that a sugar-free drink option (other than water) is a must for any future occasions-at least 3 people came up to ask me if the iced tea was sugar-free, which it wasn't. I also learned that wearing a comfortable pair of shoes (and not new heeled boots) is also a must. My feet are killlling me still!

As promised, here are a few pictures. I didn't get any of the lunch table (people dug in as soon as I put the food out).

Dessert Table-The favor boxes had trick-or-treat sized candy and a Snoopy Halloween-themed post-it note pad in them. The tags on them say "Thank You".

I spent way too much time getting my edible ink printer working again and learned that royal icing loses it consistency when it sits in the fridge overnight. The cookies weren't my best final presentation but everyone enjoyed them just the same.

"Great Little Pumpkin" banner over the gift table. Sorry, I can figure out how to flip this one but you get the idea...

Not pictured: We played "Little Pumpkin Bingo" which I find is the best shower game because it keeps people interested in what is being opened. For the table centerpieces, I planted mums in pumpkins, had leaf cut-outs sprinkled around that and little bowls filled with pumpkin-style candy corn. I made labels for all of the lunch items and above the food table were baby pictures of the mom and dad to-be framed in paper pumpkin cut-outs.
